Great microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the microwave and it is really quiet and easy to use. One thing we noticed is the view window is half the size of the door and is hard to look in. The glass goes to the bottom of the door but the viewing tint stops half way. It could be better and I'm not sure why this was done!
I have used this a few times since it was installed in January. It is loud. Louder than the previous microwave I had, which was cheaper. It even makes odd and different sounds while in use sometimes. Does it work, yes. Does it look good, yes. The buttons are also hard to push. Would I purchase again? No.

LG won't replace a lemon

A few weeks after getting this microwave and within warranty it had issues with the display and then the fan. LG support sent 4 different technicians who installed 4 different doors, 2 control boards, and various other parts over the course of about eight visits. They simply refuse to replace a lemon unit. Now almost exactly two years later, it is not functioning at all, it just beeps every few minutes as long as it has power.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On November 19/2019 I purchased a LG over the range microwave and I only used it twice to cook popcorn and it December 5/ 2019 and the microwave will not work will not heat any food.I just make a peep sound with the numbers counting down. Nothing cooking.It cold as ice.I read the reviews before purchasing this brand buy know I wish I didn't. Those review know I know no true.know I have to get it fixed .I hope so bad it's fixable I like the style of it. I'm sad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase the microwave and not one year up just about 3 months past and it stoped working and I had to go to the store and they gave me a new one because it was not as they say fixable. I just hope my new one last some time.A long time lasting.

Bought this microwave in May and had it installed in June. Had very limited use, and by September the microwave started making a banging noise while in use. By October the microwave completely crapped out. Repairman came in mid November and attempted to replace the magnetron, and then determined the issue was the motor. Since then the repairman has not been able to obtain the part from LG. We just called and it will be another 3 weeks for the part to (supposedly) come in. Meanwhile we have been 3 months with a broken brand new microwave. 3+ months with no repair is absurd - LG should be replacing this unit with a brand new microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the original set up this microwave roared, moaned and groaned like a tornado and train combined. But it did heat. Noise was reported and ignored. Then it quit heating. A repairman was called. Took a week to get him out here. He fixed the problem. About ten minutes after he left I decided to have a cup of coffee. Imagine my surprise when the time was up and the water was still cold! I immediately called the service center. They told me they would have the repairman call me. That was five days ago. So I bought this thing on December 5th. It is January 25th. I’ve had no practical use of this machine.
