Great Replacement Over The Range Microwave

Well made, great features, good price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was hesitant about the 'Easy Clean' on this model, worried about scaling and/or chipping, but completely unwarranted. Inside cleans well and is very secure. Venting works great although a little noisy when set to 'TURBO'. Heats very uniformly and quickly. All-in-all a very good microwave oven.

Very good...but could be improved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like almost everything about this unit. The touch buttons are a nice feature, as is the energy savings buttons. There are only 3 things we have issues with.
1) this is an over the range microwave, and is therefore meant to be mounted an average of 5 ft -6 ft above the floor. Why then has LG decided to place the window in the UPPER half of the door? This makes it impossible for anyone shorter than 6 ft to view the inside of the unit while cooking on turntable tray. I'm 5'6" and I can barely see inside if the food is on the rack. But my wife and I never use the rack, so...
2) Along with #1, the dark interior further hampers viewing inside. The interior light is also very dim.
3) We like the energy savings button. But we wish the unit could be set to automatically engage the energy savings after use. The only way to engage it is to manually push the button after you're done using it. Minor nitpick, I know.
