[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this microwave few months back. I noticed that you have to press real hard the touch pad to activate. Also, you can't see the food inside while cooking because of the dark color (all the microwaves I had were WHITE and easy to see - not LG). The maximum power 100 is not truly so compared to my previous product; it is weak.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with it. It is has been reliable, quiet and plenty of power and looks good. The stainless steel doesn't finger print up like the old ones used to, so that is good. I do wish it would have had a quick cook setting where you only press one number for the cooking one thru six minutes though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using for a few months now and am very pleased. I like the modern styling. The ventilation functions extremely well. I like the available options on the key pad, in particular the 30 second button along with the + and - buttons (which add and subtract 10 seconds, respectively).

Disappointing Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 4th over-the-range microwave in the last 21 years. And compared to the others, we are disappointed with how it operates and with some of the features. The fan, which is installed properly, is quite noisy, so 95% of the time, we run it on low. The width caused a forceful fit into the previous space already used by 3 other microwave installs. The viewable part of the window is so high that we have to stand on tip-toe to see if the dish is boiling over, etc (Seems like it's made for people 5ft 9in and taller). And when the food is ready, there are no reminder beeps that it wasn't taken out of the microwave.
But, as far as getting the job done and selecting various levels of wattage, yes, we're pleased with how it performs. (This was not our first purchase of an LG product).
