It works

Touch buttons vary in the amount of finger pressure it takes to activate action. Fan motor is noisy on high speeds. Light inside and viewing widow are inadequate. But it cooks.
Pros: Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had the new microwave for one month and what a huge difference to our old one. I can't believe it heats and defrosts that fast. Great Buy!

I'm in love with this microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this microwave for about a year. At first glance, it's a pretty typical microwave and will perform basic tasks with ease. For me, the 2 things that make this thing special is the sensory cooking and the butter softener. The sensory cooking is amazing and always ensures that whatever you put in there is not going to come out rubbery or hard as a rock. The butter softener (which may not be a big deal for some people, but I bake a lot and this is a huge time saver) does exactly what you would expect. I put an entire stick of butter in there and it just comes out soft - not hard in some places or liquid on one end - just one completely soft stick. I love it!
The over-the-stove microwave I replaced never let me run the timer at the same time that the microwave was running. If I was timing something on my cooktop, I had to turn it off in order to microwave something. With this beauty, I can do both at the same time and never skip a beat.
There are 2 things that I don't care about, but some people might take issue with it. The first is that the light inside appears very dim when it's running. I'm short and cannot see inside anyway because this is over my stove. With the sensory cooking, I don't have to watch my food anyway. It does a great job on its own. The second thing some people might take issue with is the fact that the clock doesn't stay on all the time. It shuts off after a certain period of time after you have pushed any buttons. For me, I have a clock on the wall, a radio under my cabinets that displays time so I don't really need that feature.
I have yet to find something about this microwave that I don't like or would change. After a year, I can honestly say that I have no regrets.
