the blackout on the window is too high to see food cooking when using turntable, and when would you NOT use the turn table. So far power level seems low for a 1000 watt unit. Food not always warmed through when I follow cooking times. Audible is a bit loud for me, but unable to adjust, only on or off. I'm unable to use my favorite food cover which hangs out magnatized to the top of my old range...there is no metal area at the top of this unit. unit came as a part of an appliance package.
Pros: Style/Design
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unit Burned Out after 16 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About 4 months after 1 year warranty expired, the system electronics went bad. LG customer service told me something different every time I called and eventually bought a new oven.

This Microwave sucks!!!!!

I bought this thing 4 months ago and it overheats and shuts off. It overheated yesterday evening and today it won't heat up anything. I have never had a microwave that just stop working. I also think the glass tray is too large - it sticks out past the bottom of the microwave. I purchased all LG appliances for my kitchen and the microwave was not the one i was worried about not working. This has me very concerned about the quality of your products. There is no way that i should be having repairs done to 4 month old microwave - should be replaced immediately with a new one!!!

Solid Microwave, decent fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new LG microwave for about two weeks now, and am quite satisfied with it. It cooks rapidly, is fairly quiet and is easy to clean. A few things I would change if I could: brighter LED lighting below and inside (rather than the halogen), better view into the microwave (visible area it rather high up), and auto off for cooktop light (like the auto off for the fan). All in all, I like it though.

Poor Reliability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned this model for about 33 months. It has stopped heating food. Very poor reliability when a home appliance fails before three years of use. I have lost all confidence in LG products and won't be a repeat customer!

Stopped working 4 years later

This microwave was part of an appliance package: the refrigerator stopped cooling a few weeks ago, although LG did fix for free (compressor issue). This microwave then stopped heating a week later -I was told that I needed to hire an appliance service at my own cost, but may get the magnetron for free if that was the issue (perhaps requiring a second repair visit). At this point I will try another brand.

Bad Plastic Parts!

First plastic that holds the screw for the handle just crumbled. Then the extremely small tabs that hold the keypad bezel broke off. Now the tabs for cover for the filter on the top are starting to break. This model should be fully recalled and owners refunded or should get replacements with updated materials. This plastic was not fully tested and is very brittle. Hope you enjoyed our money because never will I buy an LG product again.
