Great Laser Printer
on November 22, 2016

I've been looking for a reasonably priced printer decided to purchase this printer based on previous experience with HP. Has a good sized paper tray, prints front & back, and was easy to connect wirelessly to my home network. So far I have been pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No option for automatic duplex printing a bad move
on May 15, 2017
Posted by: sinjin
My only disappointment is that DUPLEX PRINTING is not automatic. I'm stuck with manual duplex printing: a big surprise!
I had a 276 model that my wife messed up. I figured, despite being white vs the black 276, the 277 would be comparable, but I was wrong. It's of less quality...
The list of features is great but there are a few things to know 1. the manual in no way resembles the built-in menus of this machine - you simply can't use it to set this machine up. I hope HP sees this as an embarrassment. 2. When this printer goes to sleep it doesn't wake up unless you press a button or turn it off then on again which means unattended printing isn't possible. 3. If you want to set up ePrinting or air drop you are going to need to call HP.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Proforms well, sounds bad

We have always used HP products. Never any issues. This new printer works well, but every time you print it sounds like its going to fall apart. The first time I printed I though I had left some of the packing materials in the printer.
