This is a great dryer and I really like the wrinkle prevent. Does great with large bulky items and small loose items. It has a moisture sensor, so it will stop when the clothes are dry instead of continuing to run. The wrinkle prevent feature allows your load to sit for several hours and the dryer will tumble every so often to prevent wrinkles. Love it, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new dryer.

This electric dryer works very well and the controls are simple to understand and use. I only wish I could select a different song, because it's either on or off (if you don't like the default jingle).
This dryer is very roomy too, and the lint trap is very efficient and easy to clean.

My older dryer needed parts replaced to continue working . . . by the way my husband easily replaced parts the first time without a repairman or labor charges, and could have the second time but decided it was time to buy new, so we invested in this dryer. The only real improvements over my old one are the very big door opening and capacity. I like that the lint trap is in the inside of the door instead of pulling out of the top (the lint doesn't get airborne and settle everywhere when you pull it out. It also has a trap for buttons, legos, etc.
That said, I'm disappointed. I personally do not like the digital display but not too many other choices (when I see digital I think "cheap" and the money I will have to spend to have someone repair it sooner, knobs and buttons tells me we can get and replace parts ourselves and not get the run around from a customer service department. The price I paid was too much for what little improvement over my older machine this offers. For one thing it is not efficient. I have had to separate washed loads just to get clothes dry, and realize that I need to very, VERY thoroughly, sort laundry to get consistently dry clothing. For example, I washed our kids' winter wear all together (coats, snow pants, gloves, hats, scarves . . . ) and tried to dry all together and after several attempts at sorting and re-drying, still not dry. Plus lint deposited all over the clothes and very little in the trap (we read the manual, cleaned out all vents like we were supposed to and ran a previous load that deposited lint in the trap). This didn't happen with my older machine. I'm not very impressed, compared to my older one, it's just barely average.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
