We have only had this dryer for one day, but it seems well put together. The door hinges are very sturdy compared to our old dryer and it has a sensor mod on most cycles.
The only drawback to the less expensive model is it has no light in the drum whereas the next ones up are all lit.

We have had out dryer for about a year and haven't had any problems with it. I love the different settings that it offers and it' always does the job. Our clothes are always polished & I haven't had anything damaged in this dryer like I have with others in the past.
My only complaint is that the "beep" that signals that the laundry is done - is pretty loud & obnoxious. It is much more like a ringtone, so the "song" continues to go off for 10+ seconds before stopping. It's definitely something that you can work around - but I do have to make sure that feature is off if I am running laundry at night or during a movie, it can be pretty disruptive in an apartment.
However, I will say that the unit itself is very quiet when it runs.
Overall amazing dryer & I would buy again. :)

Never a Damp Towel or Piece of Clothing!

We have been using this dryer for a month now, and I am absolutely in love! The wrinkle-prevent feature is fabulous for those collared shirts my husband forgot to get dry cleaned and that we wash at home. I used to have dryer after dryer that almost always left a large load of wet towels damp, and needing another cycle to dry, but with the Samsung dryer we never have that problem! I've also noticed that when drying a load of clothes, it takes half the time than stated and my clothes are always super dry - and in record time! Love it!

We think is a great dryer. It drys the clothes without all of the lint in the screen. Our other dryer must have beat the clothes because the lint screen was always completely full.
