There is no light in this dryer, which I didn't think would bother me but it does. Also, dryer sheets get stuck in it. The insert for the lint that you take out and clean broke just after the 1 year mark. It's starting also right after the 1 year mark, to make noises like metal is rubbing on metal. So that seems safe...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was time to get a washer and dryer. After doing some research we decided to go with this Samsung dryer. We mostly picked this product because of the size and price. I love the bedding option. I was a little disappointed that I had to dry my king size comforter a little bit longer than the bedding option allowed though. There were a couple of damp spots when the cycle was finished. The load size blows my mind. I have a 4 person family and use to end up doing 10+ loads of laundry every weekend. I am now at 4 loads. What use to take my all weekend to finish gets done in one day. The drying to is comparable to my old agitator washer and dryer set. I love the design of this machine, down to the lint screen. No more earrings getting lost down the chute. My only complaint on the design is that there is no light on this model. I didn't feel is was that important when deciding on a new machine though, considering all the other option it has. My very favorite thing about this product is at the end of the cycle. There is a pleasant melody that plays at the end instead of the old harsh buzzers. GENIUS!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, capacity, bedding option

Received dryer on 9-25-16, ran dryer on normal for its first use,clothes came out soft and dry.
Machine is very quiet. Only first time using it but very happy with machine.
