Nice Dryer

We really like this dryer! Not use to all the presets and modern touches this unit has. I've had nothing but the old style dryers for years which did the job, but it's kind of nice having the bells and whistles that are featured on this dryer. So far so good, we've only had it a month.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Samsung makes a great product. I had my first Samsung washer and dryer for five years. With eight people in our home, our washer and dryer were used every day--frequently three or four times a day. We never had a problem. Our house burned down. For our new home, I requested Samsung for every appliance I could They stand up to the hard use our family requires,
Pros: Durable, reliable, quiet
Cons: none

Already had to purchase a new dryer

We purchased this dryer less than three years ago. We purchased a new dryer (different brand) based on the repairman's recommendation because he said Samsung appliances are horrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung dryer is garbage

My dryer stop drying in less than 2 years. Samsung dryer do not last. Stay away!

My dryer is less than 2 years old and is already making horrible noises. It screeches, clunks and makes a grinding noise. We saved our money to buy a matching set and were so excited to buy something that we thought was a quality product. Do NOT waste your money! Samsung will not stand behind their product. If you google their product you will see that everyone seems to be having the same problem with their dryer and it's after the warranty is up.

Breaks as soon as warranty is over

Less than two years old and it cost more to repair than fix. Took over two hours mostly dry a load of laundry since day one. I was told I needed a new vent so you redid that and it was on better. Vent light on since new, the lint trap doesn't trap lint so when we empty the filter after every load we have to vacuum out the inside behind the filter which also doesn't catch change so now we have searing hot change covered in flammable lint all inside the vent tube in the walls of my house. Bad design and I'm sure plenty have already caught fire. Junk, do not buy

I've had this dryer for approximately two years. The thermal fuse blows out constantly. I've replaced it and the heating element but still the same problem. This is a common problem but no recall. Last Samsung appliance I will ever buy.
