Replaced an Epson we had for years. While this model is a low end scanner it gives high end quality performance.

Great portable scanner

It runs solely off any USB port, so no A/C transformer or bulky cords. It is surprisingly fast, scanning a page and returning to scan the next page in about 10 seconds. Also, it only weighs about a pound, so traveling is no problem as long as it is in a case of some sort. The only problem I had was in understanding the Setup of where scanned images would be stored and setting a default resolution.

I bought this a few weeks ago. Installing the Windows 10 driver was a little tricky. The software did not want to work correctly with Windows 10. After a reboot or 2 software began working.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Light Weight / Easy to tote and put away

So portable, you can carry it anywhere. Comes with a USB cable and it's ready to use. No extra (power) cable needed. You can fill out a document or job application, scan it, and send it from your computer. John, from Bradenton FL

Had two prior to this and both were EPSON'S I like how easy it to use after set up.

This is a good, lightweight scanner that's perfect for light work such as scanning photos and magazine articles to your laptop or PC. It's not meant for complex art projects or other, more in-depth work. Bear in mind too, that this is somewhat delicate machine. I've done almost 4,000 scans since buying it, but I always use the desktop icon to start the process, never the button on the front of the machine. Since it won't tolerate any physical abuse, I bought a carry case just for it.
