A Good Scanner But Not The Most Intuitive

I purchased this scanner to replace an older Canon scanner that was no longer compatible with my Windows 10 system. The scanner has performed well, however, I do not believe that it is as easy to use as my old Canon scanner. My old Canon scanner had a Toolbox that easily allowed the operator to choose between copy, scan and save, and PDF functions. This scanner has similar capabilities, but the means of accessing the functions is not as intuitive as my old scanner. Additionally, I find that using the buttons on the scanner, rather than the application, appears to take much more time to activate that I would have imagined. Overall, this is a reliable scanner that is slower and less intuitive than my old scanner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fulfilled my expectations for a scanner

My old scanner quit working when I upgraded to Windows 10 so I bought this one. It does everything I needed to do and has a couple other features that I was not expecting but I found very helpful. The only caveat is that there is no on-off switch sense it plugs into a USB port. That was an easy fix by purchasing an inline on off USB switch.

Awesome Scanner! Okay software

I got this scanner for a christmas present after wanting it for months (scanner/printers are a nightmare since you can't scan if you're out of ink, but thats another story) and I have very little to complain about! It's lightweight, scans decently quickly, brings up good results, and it doesn't need a wall plug which is ALWAYS a bonus. /BUT/ the software than comes with it hasn't changed much since I had a similar program 5-10 years ago. It runs a little jumpy, and for the auto-scan you have to re-open the program after every individual picture, which is really irritating after the 10th picture. Still, it does just what I wanted it to do, and I would recommend it :)

Dead on Arrival

This unit made two scans after hook up and then would not communicate with my computer due to a power issue (no light) I followed all sirections to correct the issue to no avail. I am returning for refund.

Much less than I expected

The software leaves much to be desired. It does not play well with MS built-in Fax/copier. It is slow - especially compared to the Dell A920 multifunction printer that died on me after 12 years or so.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for what I need it for!!

I bought this item a few weeks ago, and it's fantastic. I needed a product to scan old family photos; it does exactly that. It's lightweight, easy to use, and I only need to connect it to the computer: no plugs necessary. There have been a few times when an error message has popped up, but all I needed to do was hit the scan button again, and it worked. No problem!!

Simple hookup and use

I bought this scanner to scan so I can email docs. Who mails anything any more? This was a very easy setup and one button execution made it easy to use. Only thing it doesn’t appear to have that I would have liked is the ability to scan multiple document pages into one pdf. I had to send my tax preparer an email with 6 individual files for one tax form.
