Worst appliance purchase in 17 years!

we had really high hopes with this machine. it gave us problems from the very beginning. it had a faulty motherboard, broken drum belt and excessive rubbing which caused damage to the drum because the roller fell out of bulkhead. had issues w/in 6 mos. of the purchase.
recently, the drum was hanging too low which caused it to scrape against the inner lining of the which eventually led to a ton of black marks and holes in clothes. messed up a ton of clothes. we went to get a new machine but our warranty from bought an lg today!

it is truly the worst product my wife and i have purchased since getting married in 2004.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dryer with lots of features!

This dryer has worked well for over five years for us. We have the gas version and no problems! Big- I can fit my king comforter in it. Clothes dry well, I like the sound indicator that clothes are dry and the option to turn it off if someone is asleep nearby or I am working from home. Child-lock is a plus and really a necessity, in my opinion. It is quiet when running.
I would recommend this to a friend!
