Went dead in less than a year

Bought this Microhood last year and had to get a replacement/exchange: original one went dead within a year. Will see if the exchange one will last more.
The design is great though.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is a great match to the range that I already own

I was looking for a microwave that would match my range and this was the perfect match. All the different features are a plus to this microwave.
This microwave is economically priced, yet has many of the features of a more expensive model. Works great. Highly recommended

lasted 20 months, of which we were out of town 6 months, so it was used for 14 months, family of two.

Going back after 4 days

this unit turned on by itself (see video). we would close the door, and it would start. it's a fire hazard, so returning to store.
also, +30 sec button you need to press start to activate it.
i have owned this microwave for 14 months and now it runs, but won't heat. i will never buy another samsung again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy!

purchased this less than two years ago and was initially pleased. fast forward and the microwave is completely dead- will not heat anything. we assume the magnetron is the problem, but cant say for certain since a new part + labor is so costly. its cheaper for us to just by a new (not samsung) microwave. very frustrating to spend a significant amount of money on a microwave only to have it die in less than two years. unless samsung decides to fix this for is for free- we are done with their products for good.

I have now used the microwave for a little over a week since moving in to our new house; and I am underwhelmed, to say the least. I really thought we were going to have quality brand new appliances from Samsung. I have to press really really hard on the control panel, which is frustrating; where as, my Kenmore at my old house, the control panel is very easy to use. I can't help the small size or 1000 W, but the light intended to use over the stove is a joke. I have the dishwasher and refrigerator which I am not too much a fan of either. Sadly, disappointed with such low quality.
