My new microwave

Very happy with the Samsung microwave. Easy to operate, looks stunning over the stove, and doesn't have any unnecessary buttons. This was a gift to upgrade my old microwave which was only 750w but now I have 1000w. It was easy to install and fit the space I had perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We replaced our cream colored microwave with the new stainless Samsung. This thing is quiet and looks better, I didn't think that there was that much difference in the new microwaves and the older ones. We don't here the turntable moving,the fan is quieter and when it is cooking it's quieter. Good Job Samsung.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight

Buttons hard to push

Pros: Easy to install; Heats food well (only use microwave to heat foods); looks good; sleek.
Cons: Have to really press the buttons - especially light button; outside lamping is dim (we replaced w/ a higher watt LED bulb and that helped); no direct program for timer (3 step).
Wish the light button would "light" up, so at night you can see where it is turn either turn on/off.
Pros: easy install
Cons: outside lamping dim

Over the Range microwave install challange

Like the microwave, Matches the rest of my Samsung appliances.
I had a terrible time installing it due to spotty construction of my house had to preform lots of work on the wall a exhaust duct to get the space ready for the installed.
However Samsung provided paper cut out to mark the exact spot to cut holes for duct and drill for bolts. This made it easy once I was ready to hang the microwave. The product itself was packed well and had plenty of Styrofoam to prevent damage. Event though the delivery box looked like it was dropped off the back of the truck, the micro was fine. Buttons on the microwave respond very well like a touch screen without pressure.
The exhaust fan is very noisy even in low speed. Of course how your exhaust duct is ran has an effect on this.The up side of the noise it the exhaust fan moves a lot of air so you can clear out the smoke quickly when you burn something. And not have to listen to the smoke alarm all night. Just remember this is not a drop down and plug in appliance. If your house is older like mine.

Microwave

The microwave was installed in an "open" kitchen design of a Post and Beam home which required the fabrication of a couple of custom brackets to bolt to the top mounting points. The stainless finish of it and the other Samsung appliances work really well with the rustic interior.
The only negative comment would be that the under-unit light needs to be brighter.
