Failed right away

microwave quit cooking within a year. i tried to use the samsung warranty for repair of the microwave. they told me 1st to upload a copy of my receipt, which i did, then told me it wasn't good enough, so i had to do another upload. told me it was a common issue, and that they were waiting on parts, and it'd be 1-1.5 weeks until they could get the parts. i followed up with them 3 weeks later, was told they were still waiting on parts. followed up again 2 weeks after that and was told that i had to contact samsung and they no longer had my ticket (they had closed it apparently without repairing it). currently sitting on hold with samsung again, as they are struggling to create a ticket. i'm never going to buy another samsung appliance based on how this has gone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this thing broke down right after the warranty expired. your tech. said the parts are covered by a 10 year warranty but i will have to call one of your "listed" repairperson. the repairperson wants to charge me more than the cost of the microwave.

Stopped and not 3 yrs old

purchased from lowes in july 2017. like other reviews it completely quit. no lights or anything. outlet checks out as working. manual says to unplug for 10 seconds and replug. did that several times. still nothing. bought this to match tge stainless steel of our samsung stove. previous kenmore lasted for years. buying a different brand. more expensive to fix than replace.

this is my second microwave after first one stop working after 2 years. i bought the same one thinking may be bad luck. unfortunately second one went bad after couple years again. don't suggest to buy samsung microwave.
not a good model.

we have had this microwave not even 3 years and the light underneath went out in a few montgs time, the fan does not get smokecand steam out very well and now when we use it to heat up things it stops after a few seconds and the clock wont keep time. definitely will not buy anymore samsung kitchen appliances. samsung kitchen appliances are the absolute worse.

Not Worth It!

i have always trusted samsung products so when i was looking for a microwave, i didn't think twice and went with this product. i am really disappointed, , i purchased this microwave thinking i was going to have a long term product and i am shocked that it only lasted about 2 years. i don’t know what samsung is doing lately but it seems that all their appliances only last about 2 years before they start to break down or stop working. so if you are looking for a good microwave this is not for you and not worth buying.

Microwave failed to heating food

i love samsung brand, have tvs, electrical range, microwave, etc.
my microwave has stopped heating up food, everything else works
i was hoping it was covered in the warranty but shows expired
i hate yo give you two stars nut did not have a choice
