Worked for three years and poof stopped heating. I bought the whole kitchen suite and now microwave is out, oven digital display needs replaced and the fridge ice maker leaks water…

Doesn't Last Long

Bought this in summer 2018 and died in summer 2022. First it didn't heat the food but everything else works (clock, range). One day the whole thing died and sometimes it turned back on. After 2 weeks the whole thing died. Really bad manufacturer, I have another microwave by whirlpool and still running after 12 years. Do not buy samsung microwaves!!!!!

I have had 2 that failed

Bought this microwave to replace the older model that failed. I was told that the first microwave would cost too much to repair and I should buy the newer model. This model did not las that long and failed the same way as the first. Everything would work, but would not heat the food. I feared the worst since I was originally told that a new microwave is more economical. Technician stated Samsung took care of the parts and I was only charged labor. Hoping this fix lasts.
I have multiple Samsung products with issues with my frigerator. Samsung has sent out multiple service requests and I have not had ice for over 2 years. Do not get the ice maker in the refigerator. Make sure to keep the ice maker in the freezer!! Issues, Issues, Issues!! I have also had issue with my gas range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Having a microwave makes it convenient to heat food and have a meal faster than usual, MikeB. Let us go and check some settings to get the microwave back on track.

When a microwave isn't starting or heating, the most common reason is that it is in Demo mode. This mode is used on retail showroom floors to show off microwaves without activating their magnetron. The microwave also will only heat if it has enough clearance or ventilation. If the microwave turns on but does not heat, checking a few settings and the installation will help resolve the issue. This applies to both regular microwave heating and convection heating.

Do not buy this microwave

Do not buy this microwave. Mine was new in 2020 and by mid 2022 it completely stopped working. Now it will go to the landfill. The matching electric range is also poor quality. The digital panel started malfunctioning after about a year and a half. Oven and range still work, but the control panel is flashing and I assume it is only a matter of time before it stops working all together.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The microwave works fine but the filter pops out spontaneously. It won't stay in properly. Otherwise, it provides the basic expected functions of a microwave.
