We are happy with the 1.8 cu. ft. Over The Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking (Stainless Steel). It's easy to clean, warms food/beverages quickly and happy with overall performance, oven size and appearance.

Great OTR Microwave

This standard installation size, large cooking capacity microwave oven has a plethora of preset sensor settings, which I find very convenient. It looks great and has a large turntable, unlike many of the others that have dinner-plate sized ones. When you first run it, you may hear a noise that sounds like something is slightly loose, but they tell me that's normal. After a couple of uses, that noise went away for us, and it sounds fine. It has a rack for two-level cooking, but I don't typically use it.
Pros: eco-friendly setting available

mis match of mounting screws

I bought microwave last week but never knew that screws can make such a big problem in mounting of OTR..
The threading of top mounting screws (2 nos) supplied with the microwave did not match with the hole given on microwave..one can imagine 50 lbs weight being lifted by 2 persons to keep it in position and the third person trying to fix the wrong screws supplied..
Finally, we overcome the problem by using old screws we had & it worked..

Also, there was no templet & manual provided along with the OTR.
Cons: Poor quality

Nice Clean Design - Good Value

We needed a new OTR microwave and found the Samsung 1.8 cu in (ME18H704SFS) on sale. I had a look at a number of reviews and it was rated good overall. It has a nice clean design. It also just happened to match our Samsung gas range, so it was a bit of a no-brainer. We also looked at a 2.0 cu. in. model that was on sale. It was fancier, but I didn't see any noticeable difference in the interior size, so we went with the 1.8. It has quite a number of features, which quite frankly, I will probably never use. I just need a microwave that heats stuff up when I need it to!
The only cons I can dig up is the latch mechanism, which is a bit hard when opening and closing the door. It is still very new, so it may soften a bit with more use. Also, I find the exhaust fan somewhat noisy. I guess you could argue that it will not let you walk away and forget to turn it off...
Overall a good microwave for the price.
