Unhappy with overall Performance

I expected more out of this microwave. It looked and sounded good in the store, but when i got home, I discovered there were features missing that my 9 year old one had. For one, I cannot time and microwave at the same time. The buttons are hard to push, especially for my wife who has some arthritus in her fingers. I didn't like that I had to ask for a users guide for the unit, as it didn't come with a detailed one (only brief descriptions of each button), it didn't have one online, and I had to request one from customer service. The reason I bought this Samsung unit was the good experiences I had with 2 TV's and a refrigerator.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

How do I use it?

I've been using microwaves for 40 years. I have even baked cakes and brownies. This item has some nice features. It is probably the most advanced I have ever owned. The only issue I have is out of the box there is no user manual. There is an installation manual and a limited user manual that explains nothing. The program buttons on the unit can't be used without instruction. The user has no way of knowing what program 1, 2 - 5 means without a manual so you won't be able to use it right away except for timed cooking. The website is confusing and does not and only takes standard keys or mouse input so it is time consuming. After registering the manuals for the oven are not readily available. I had to google to find the instruction manual because I could not locate it in my Samsung account.
Pros: lots of features
Cons: no instructions

This microwave is quieter than my last microwave, which was a GE. I really like the interior surface, it's very easy to clean. The pre-programmed settings work well and I've used the rack insert a couple of times. Overall I'm very happy with this microwave.
My only real complaint is that I can't have a timer running at the same time as I'm using the microwave function. Definitely not a deal breaker for me but it is a feature that I didn't know I'd miss until I didn't have it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, multiple fan and light settings
Cons: can't run timer while also using microwave functio
I would recommend this to a friend!

This microwave is great. We installed it ourselves and that was fairly easy. Only complaint would be the thin paper for the template. That was a bit problematic at times.
