So far the microwave has performed well with no problems. the only concern was when I opened the carton the rear corner had a dent in it. Possible shipping accident.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

the microwave works very well but as soon as i wiped over the samsung letters they move around. now it only says s_msung. it would be nice if they etched the letters instead of glued.

Looked great, nice features but completely dead within two years of purchase. Just my husband and myself, so it's not like it was even used all that often. Very disappointed- I got all new Samsung stainless appliances in 2012 - wondering what's next to go out.
Cons: quit working

This product was installed by previous homeowner in May 2016. I bought the home Sept. 2016. In early August 2017, just two months past the warranty, there was suddenly no power to the unit. We have taken it down, ordered and installed a new control panel and assembly, and still doesn't work. I've almost spent as much as a new unit would cost and still nothing. I would not buy another unit from Samsung.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality

Don’t Walk, Run Away!

When we moved to our new home in September, 2016,we had to buy all new kitchen appliances. We had a good, quality Samsung TV and Samsung appliances were priced decently with good features. Just over a year after we bought the appliances, the dishwasher broke. It would have cost almost as much to repair as to replace (this was not a cheap, low end dishwasher). We bought a Whirlpool with less bells and whistles, but the quality of the wash and the fact that it still runs after more than a year makes me believe it is superior to Samsung.
AND THEN.... the Samsung microwave that came with the suite that we purchased broke (about 18 months after we bought it). Infuriated that the second of four appliances broke, my wife called Samsung. They were nice enough to honor a free repair (after some begging/pleading). A Samsung rep came out to replace the whole front console. Within a month, the microwave broke AGAIN. After more calls to Samsung, they sent another rep to replace the console. AGAIN, WITHIN A FEW WEEKS, IT STOPPED WORKING. Again, Samsung came out to replace the console. This time, instead of just shutting down, it shut down AND overheated to the point where it was so hot inside, we unplugged it and haven’t used it for safety concerns. I am very tired of dealing with this piece of junk. I’m worried that the remaining two appliances will break down before they have a normal life. I doubt Samsung cares- but i have told them i will make it my mission to tell my story to anyone who wants to hear it. That includes the builders my wife works with.

Within the first month, filter does not stay in, timer does not work and fan will not shut off - must unplug after each use.

The roller ring that came with it can not be the right one. The glass tray wobbles because the wheels are not high enough to touch the bottom of the glass tray (yes, the middle part on the wheel and glass tray are aligned properly).

I owned this microwave for 6 weeks when it made a sad sound and died completely. 3 weeks later it is a shiny storage unit above my oven. Worst purchase ever.
