After less than 4 years the touch pad failed. I find that unacceptable performance duration for the price. I found that others had the same problems. Wish I had know before. I did not replace with another Samsung.

I just got this microwave turned on the light and cannot get it to turn off. It was on high and I got it down to night light but cannot get it to go off. What can I do? Another thing is the key pads. I can hardly see it. When I touch Eco Mode nothing happens..it needs to light up. I wish this came with a book of instructions..
Cons: key pad doesn't light up, light won't turn off

Thank you for reaching out regarding your 1.8 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cooking in Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel light cannot be switched off, and the eco mode not working. On behalf of Samsung, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Regarding your concern, to help you with this, let me go ahead and provide you with the steps to adjust the light and switch it off.
Press the light button 1 time for the light to be on high
Press the light button 2 times for the light to be on low
Press the light button 3 times for the light to be turned off
As for the eco mode, this reduces standby power usage. When you press the Eco Mode button once, the display will go out, and the microwave shifts to the mode which minimizes power usage.
To cancel the Eco Mode, press the Eco Mode button once again, or press any other button.
I suggest you check this link to your user manual for assistance. Please go to pages 10 to 11.

The product started fire after six uses. It was not used heavily, has not been subjected to any physical damage, was installed properly and the user was familiar with its operation.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality

Good looking Microwave

Not only good looking but also does the job, quicker and more efficient than former microwave. It is a little bigger but it just fine. Fan is quiet too.

Not what I expected

Just installed this product. Had one 3 years old that just died. I really liked that one but this "newer" version is not better. The cavity is black now instead of white and I have a difficult time seeing in a black hole. The cavity light is too faint to be effective. I will have to keep a flashlight handy to see in the cavity. I am so disappointed and it may be the last Samsung product I purchase.
