I have only used it for a couple of days. So far so good. I like the two filters. That will really help with the grease. I like the echo mode. It will be used a lot.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, great value

Replaced 35 yr old microwave

Twice this unit has overheated and shut down completely including the clock. We needed to unplug and plug back in about an hour later and it would be fine. I have placed a service request. I am sure it will be rectified. We have 4 other Samsung products - TV, Fridge, Dishwasher and Range and love them all.
Pros: Bright display, love it if it didn't have this issue
Cons: no idea why it overheats
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Somewhat faulty

I've had this product for 6 months, and up until now it's been good. However, I am now experiencing an issue where it loses power on and off. It doesn't trip my fuse box and the outlet is fine. I've done some research and it seems to be a known issue with Samsung microwaves at least since 2007. Last night the power kept shutting off every time I opened the door and tried to heat my food. It would turn off as soon as I opened the door. I reset the clock after the power came back on and left it alone overnight and today it is working fine as if nothing happened.
It's still under warranty, so at this point I think I'll have someone come take a look, as I'm not sure if it will keep happening or not.
I wish that merchants would publish lists of known issues to help customers decide if they want to purchase and possibly have to deal with such issues.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, technical issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
