We just installed our microwave, and it seems to work well. We didn't realize the buttons weren't "one touch," but we'll adjust to that pretty quickly.
Pros: Bright display, nice size and interior
Cons: cook buttons aren't one touch
I would recommend this to a friend!

Attractive durable design, but disappointing power

Looks great in our kitchen. Undoubtedly designed to withstand years of use. But wish we had looked more carefully at power output, much less than unit it replaced. With just 1000 watts, we have to double cooking times.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Terrific Appearance and Performance

The microwave looks and operates great but there are a few features that I miss that were on my previous brand of microwave. First, the reheat menu is limited and I found that the cycle I did use would overheat my leftovers. Also, rather that hitting the reheat button and then typing in the cycle number, you have to repeatedly hit the reheat button to obtain the cycle. Second, you have to hit the start button for everything. I like it when you hit the 1, 2, 3, or 4 buttons for the number of minutes and then the cooking begins immediately without having to hit the start button. Unfortunately, this microwave doesn’t do this. The buttons for the fan and the light are a little confusing. It’s just an adjustment from my previous brand of microwave, which I found to be more user friendly. Otherwise, this microwave has a nice appearance with clean lines and nice stainless steel door and it cooks well.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, clean lines
Cons: not enough reheat options, have to hit the start button for everything, fan and light buttons a bit confusing

We bought two .. these ovens don't take up much space .. and the whole microwave experience is even quicker with two .. when you have the right reheatable containers and cookware .. but, these seem to be a little 'slower'/ under powered. The touch screen could be better
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: 'slow', display/controls

does not do simplistic functions

we bought the samsung for looks, because of the black ss, thinking their technology should be more than fine. in reality, samsung has decided not to find out what's important to people when in the kitchen (can you say fridge with bulit-in tv but terrible ice maker?). the microwave DOES NOT HAVE PRESET MINUTE, TWO MINUTE, ETC functions, so you have to enter in 1-0-0 start, etc, just to do a one minute cooking. the cheapest of microwaves have this on them. also, the microwave has a kitchen timer, but its is quiet and goes off ONCE, leaving it useless if you don'f hear it. further, you CANNOT SET THE TIMER AND THEN ENTER COOK FUNCTIONS. you have to stop/clear the timer to actually cook in the microwave!! how USELESS!
Pros: looks
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor functionality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works Well

The microwave works with some impressive features but the instructions on how to use these features stink! It is going to take some time using this unit to learn exactly what these features do. So far I can heat my cup of soup, turn the lights on and run the fan. Learning Greek to do the rest!
