We purchased this with the other bundle of appliances to update our kitchen. Love the look, cooking is powerful and functions are easy to use. My only complaint is the kitchen timer. I used this function ALL the time on my old microwave and it would beep continually until I shut it off when time was up. This allowed me to go do other things in the house. I've resorted to using the timer on the oven, but having the oven time and microwave timer to use previously allowed me to time 2 different items at a time. Again, does not affect functioning of microwave, just a personal preference.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Waste of money

Do not buy Samsung Over-the-Range Microwave you will regret I can assure you, died twice within one year,first time turn on by itself fortunately my wife was home(extreme safety hazard) second time died completely no power, warranty expired 2 weeks ago I took it to repair shop and waiting for verdict. I read several reviews on samsung forum, tons of people has problems with Samsung appliances, they make good tv's they should stick with it.

Everything is good about it- except the door

The oven looks good, works well. In terms of functionality, the oven has all the functions I need, including a timer to use around the kitchen. I like the ability to set the power level of the oven; this way, I can warm the food to the temperature I want -not too hot or too cold.
The only thing that is bad is the plastic skin of the door (mine is white color, not the stainless steel version). It cracks, with 2 small vertical cracks. Small but visible.

We liked this microwave so much that we bought the same one in stainless and also went with all Samsung appliances to replace our old ones.

I've wanted to replace our old microwave since we moved into the house. As soon as I saw the Samsung Black Stainless I knew it was time! It looks so sleek and works great!
