Simplicity rocks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this freezer, and the companion refrigerator, for a remodel. Just got them installed about a month ago so it is early days yet. However, we are really happy with our decision to go with this capacious, simple, and thoroughly easy-to-use pair. We cook a lot, and purchase some of our ingredients in small bulk, so the full size freezer is heaven sent. We do enjoy having enough room for things without having to unpack the whole freezer every time we want to put something in or take something out. (My husband adds that there is no need for the stand-on-your-head contortions accessing food requires in so many other refrigerators with freezers on the side or bottom.)
A big plus is the simplicity of the pair - we really don't want appliances that run our lives or household. We want appliances that are pleasant in appearance, easy to use, suit our needs - and are reliable with friendly and reasonable customer service. So far so good, Frigidaire!

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frigidaire 19cu ft single door freezer is just what I wanted. It is very spacious and it even has an ice maker. I wasn't expecting an ice maker; but was pleasantly surprised. I love my new freezer

Lovin it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this freezer about a month ago because I wanted an upright freezer rather than a chest type(smaller footprint) in my laundry room. The chest freezer was in my she shed. I wanted the largest one I could find with the handle on the right side(most are on left), because the door is not reversible like a refrigerator. I was surprised to see that it has an ice maker since I didn’t see that information on any description. If I had known, I could have had water run to that area before delivery. The only thing that has bothered me so far is that the door is so hard to open and I’m pretty strong. I literally have to use one hand to push and the other to pull to open it or jerk it. I’m hoping the magnets will weaken a little in time. I also think it would be an improvement to make the “soft freeze compartment” a bit taller. Over all it’s been great!
