Great replacement !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace my 18 year old freezer. Never knew they made a freezer with an ice maker. Didn’t realize it could be used with an all refrigerator appliance. Love the smudge free finish and the bright LED lighting. I will have to get used to the glass shelves, some items want to slide. I also got it at a great price so that was a big plus!!!! I have only had for a few weeks so I can only hope that I get 18 problem free years from this freezer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compressor makes too much noise. Freeze I did not come with a filter as the refrigerated did. Door has too much suction hard to open There should be some way to release the suction before opening the door

When the freezer door is opened, warm air rushes inside. Once the door is closed all the warm air rushes to the evaporator which causes a vacuum. Has problems with fan coming loose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first started using this freezer the fan quit working with in a week. Going through the procedures of getting a service repair man to repair it. Watching the repair man fix it so quick I knew how to fix it myself if it was to happen again. Well we have been in this new home for 3 months now and the fan has stopped working 3 time. A quick leveling of the fan and its back to working. But in all its a beautiful freezer and very roomy..

Nice but so LOUD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this freezer last week. Thank goodness it is in a pantry with a door. First day we had it, thought there was work going on outside! We have another 20 c.f. Frigidaire freezer for 8 years and it is silent compared to this more expensive model. Installer came next day to make sure it was level, it is. Wish I read all the complaints about noise. If there is no fix for this noise, will insist Appliance Connection take it back

Just OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer is ok, but the size is not very practical for a number of reasons, one of the biggest being the freezer (and the fridge for that matter) are not quite deep enough and you can only adjust shelving so much. Also, as I mentioned on my fridge review, you are going to need a custom built area to fit these so if/when the unit dies you are either stuck with this footprint (and probably Frigidaire) or rebuilding a new area/having an odd looking one. The lack of indoor ice (and water) is very annoying and last but not least god help you if you close the door and realize you forgot something. Closing the door creates a vacuum and you will be unable to open the door again for 15-30 seconds and this isn't my opinion, it is in their support. Dumb.
We got these appliances with our new home, and so far if given the choice we would have gone with another brand or at the very least other models for all appliances. These are usable, but a couple we absolutely hate (I'm looking at you dishwasher and microwave).

Good to hear your doors are sealing as they should! With usage, the vacuum seal will decrease. Keep in mind, the smaller number of items inside your freezer will make the door harder to open due to more air inside your freezer.
Some of our consumers have tried pulling the door handle while slightly placing their finger in between the gasket and door frame to open the door more easily.
