Does the Job but Seems Like it Runs a Lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No problem with keeping things cold. It has plenty of storage for our two person family.
My only complaint is that it seems to run frequently (every couple of hours) and for a long time (40 minutes per cycle). I could understand that during the day and evening when we might be opening the door but I don't understand why it kicks on multiple times over night.
It is quite the conversation piece because of it's design/style.
I would recommend this but would suggest checking out competing models. It was in the builder model home we bought so we didn't do any research.

Hey Mike2711, thank you for your feedback. Our new freezers are designed to be more efficient in that they use newer components and run at a consistent speed/temperature for a longer period of time using less energy. If your freezer is located in a non-humid and not warm environment and you have set your appliance to the appropriate temperature settings, you should notice that it runs at a lower speed for a longer period of time. This is one way it is designed to save on energy. Appliances use more energy when they constantly turn off and on. Our refrigerators are designed to allow the fan components inside to run after the compressor turns on. This allows the internal components to cool and the machine to rest even though you may still hear something running. Hope this helps! -Jennifer

Love everything except how noisy it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and how big it is but it has been driving me crazy with how loud it is. It is constantly running and I have already had a service man out to replace the fan once but it is still very loud. Contemplating returning it but I really don't want to have to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Annoying buzzing sound
