Battery life is terrible

This is my second Oral B electric toothbrush. Very happy with the actual quality of brushing BUT - The battery lasts no more than 3 days. It just dies abruptly, going from a full charge reading to nothing at all. As a result, I can't use it when going away. This WAS NOT the case with my previous brush, nor is it the case with my kids' brushes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for coming back to the Oral-B side of a great clean! We do want to share that on a full 22 hour charge, you'll get up to 10 days of use, if you're brushing for two minutes, twice a day. Because our 7000 Brush has a nickel-metal hydride battery, we suggest unplugging the charger and letting the battery completely run out of power. Once it's fully discharged (motor stops working), plug the charger back in and let the brush fully recharge. This should be done once every six months to help avoid battery "memory effect". It will also help your brush perform longer on a full charge as well. If this still isn't working, we'd be more than happy to help you further. Simply, give us a call at (800) 566-7252.

High I bought one of this in Canada 2 weeks ago and its already broken it makes a very weird noise ! The brush its self is nice but I am very disappointed at the fact it's broken. Thank u this is my review of ur brush
