LOVE MY NEW DISHWASHER

I really love my new dishwasher. It holds an unbelievable amount of plates on the bottom rack. Along with a 3 sectioned silverware basket. The top rack is also quite large. There is a soft padded section on the left to stop small items from moving around during the wash cycle. I usually use the standard 1:35 cycle. It is so nice to have my dishes clean and dry in such a short period of time - ready for the next meal! Also like the rinse only feature and stainless tub. Does a great job of cleaning and is so quiet sometimes I have to put my ear up to it to see fi it is running!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We remodeled the kitchen, and bought a Frigidaire appliance package. This dishwasher was part of the package, and does far more than expected. With two teenage kids, who don't always rinse dishes off properly, the dishwasher takes care of that. A definite upgrade from our previous one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Frigedaire Dishwasher about 5 months ago. Big washing improvement over our previous model. Still recommend rinsing dishes prior to putting them in Dishwasher though. Dishwasher very quiet. That was a huge plus for us. Only negatives are long washing cycle and also some dishes come out damp many times at completion of cycle. We do use recommended Jet Dry however still slight problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hey Meme12, thank you for sharing your dishwasher experience with us. So glad you are happy with how quiet your dishwasher is. Cycle times are approximate and will vary with options selected. Hot water is necessary to activate dishwasher detergent and melt fatty food soils. An automatic sensor will check the incoming water temperature and, if it is not hot enough, the cycle will be lengthened for automatic water heating in the main wash and final rinse of all cycles (page 5 in your Owner’s Manual). Please run water in the sink until it is hot (like you do before getting in the shower), then start the dishwasher. If you are experiencing a drying challenge with ceramic and glass, this may also be related to water temperature. Have you tried increasing the amount of rinse aid (page 15 in your Owner’s Manual)? Plastic dishes do not get as hot as metal or glass so more water collects. I hope this helped! Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth

WORST PURCHASE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn't clean, doesn't dry. Soap dispenser only opens half the time and it smells dank inside. I put my dishes in completely rinsed and it still doesn't perform. Frigidaire repair man came out, told me this 'unit doesn't dry well, just a fact'. What?? Also said I'm using the wrong soap, even though it's what the installer recommended. I changed the soap, no difference. 2 positives, it's quiet and looks nice. Basically it's a decorative furnishing. Do NOT buy this dishwasher! It makes me desperately want my 10 year old dishwasher back.

Hello, So Frustrated! I hate to hear that you are not satisfied with your dishwasher. I would love to change your opinion about it. To get the best cleaning performance, make sure your incoming water temperature is set to at least 120 degrees. Use the proper wash cycle for the soil level on the dishes, and load the dishwasher per the instructions in your manual. Your water pressure should be between 20 and 90 psi. If you have any debris in the filter area, it may need to be cleaned out. Only use the suggested amount of fresh detergent. Don't load the dishwasher is a way that will block the spray arms from rotating or the dispenser from opening.
To enhance the drying performance, make sure you are using plenty of rinse aid and are not using the air dry setting. Plastic and concave bottom dishes may not end up as dry as other dishes.

cleans great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this about two months ago. the dishwasher does a great job cleaning dishes. unit is very quiet. dishes load into washer a little strange. large dishes are loaded closed together but do come clean. the unit holds a lot of dishes. one issue is there is no secondary soap dispenser. second issue the heated dry cycle doesn't seem to dry any better than air dry. there is no food disposal or self cleaning filter so you have to clean to filter about once a month. haven't tried that yet but looks easy enough to do. overall like the dishwasher a lot.

Funky smell

Kimmer NJ, thank you for sharing your dishwasher experience with us. Sometimes when there is not enough dishes for a full load, and they are left in the dishwasher, they could cause odors. Use the rinse cycle if dish load is to be left for more than 24 hours. If there is no food items in the filters (page 16 in your Owner’s Manual), and the unit is draining properly, the odor may be from the product being new and may be normal. This should go away after several wash loads. Powerful and Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super quiet operation. This stainless interior dishwasher has perfectly cleaned my crockpots plus dried on oatmeal. I don't rinse anything before putting into the dishwasher---I just scrape off excess food. Glass lids to frypans are not only clean but spot free, in part, due to the dry with heat cycle. One note: in order to dry completely items need to be loaded at an angle so water can drain off the item, such as mugs. The silverware holder is large and keeps all silverware upright--silverware also is completely clean and dry.
