Top Panel controls stop working after a year

Was a very good dishwasher for the first year but the top touch panel stopped working properly after about a year. I can only select light wash cycle now. None of the other wash cycles can be selected on the panel. I searched around and found that this is a very common problem. The most sold spare for this machine seems to be replacement for the touch panel control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Installed 2 years ago in a vacation home used only 3 months per year and has already crapped out.

Secret is - it must be dead level

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this dishwasher in July 2016 myself. The dishwasher must be dead level or there will be drainage problems. Use a rinse agent so dishes will dry. Run your disposal in the sink before turning on and the hot water must be hot for 2 hours or there will be trouble with the soap cakes dissolving.
Those are standard dishwasher issues. The big one is, the dishwasher must be level. It may not line up with your cabinets that are not level, but for modern appliances, the assumption is that the machine is level (dead level, not almost level).
Also liked that the logo was not splashed all over the front. A very clean look that will match with any other appliance. I replaced all of my other appliances with Frigidaire appliances a year and a half later because I liked the product.
