Save you money, don't purchase this!

We purchased this dishwasher to match other new kitchen appliances. We've regretted this decision every load for three years. Food deposits and gross dishes are a daily finding after the dishwasher has been run. We've had six repairmen/companies out in the first year of ownership. We've been told we don't rinse well enough before loading, we've been told we rinse too well before running and it doesn't sense enough food to clean properly, we've tried five different detergents, numerous dry/rinse aid products, we consistently use lemi-shine, and clean the filters in the bottom of the dishwasher. Really? We've purchased dishwashers in previous homes and successfully operated dishwashers for years. This stupid thing is a mystery. I absolutely hate it and will never buy another Frigidaire product again.

Absolutely Horrible ... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

This dishwasher came with the home that I built 2 years ago. I have had others before, and this is by FAR the worst. It will not dry dishes, it runs forever (average cycle is around 1.5 hours), there is ALWAYS food on the dishes, even in glasses that are turned up side down, and it smells horribly. I have put in the jet dry, I have checked the water temperature. It has been this way since day one.

I feel awful to hear you are not getting the best cleaning/drying performance from your unit. Please try checking and cleaning your filters or a pinched/blocked drain hose. If the drain line is attached to a disposer, check that the knockout plug has been removed.
Did you know? Your household water pressure along with the water temperature plays a key role in your appliance’s performance. I recommend checking your water temperature and pressure; the recommended temperature should be 49°C (120°F) and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi).

Worst dishwasher I have ever owned

We chose all Frigidaire appliances for our new house and have regretted it since. I have had others before, and this is by FAR the worst. Since day one, it will not dry dishes, even the silverware and plates are dripping wet at the end of the cycle....plus it constantly smells damp/ like mildew. The company we purchased our appliances from came out and replaced a few parts but nothing changed. We use rinse aid, run the hot water for a full minute prior to beginning the wash cycle, and load dishes correctly.....and nothing helps. I usually don't write negative reviews, but for what we paid for this unit, it should perform much better than it does. Very disappointed!

To experience optimal performance when using your dishwasher there are a few things to note: -A Rinsing Aid must be used (assists in the cleaning and drying of dishes) -Heated wash option assists in more efficient cleaning and drying of unit and dishes inside -Mix spoons, forks, and knives to prevent nesting -Water heater temperature should be set to at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit -Ensure no dishes are resting on or blocking the detergent dispenser door, as this will prevent the detergent from being dispensed -Cycle selection should be changed based on the content of the dishwasher and the soil level of those dishes -Heavily soiled items should be cleaned using the "Heavy" cycle. -Your dishwasher should be emptied as soon as possible after a load (allows steam to exit dishwasher tub-assist with drying) -Heated dry should be selected *Cycle Information can be found on page 4-6 of Owner's Manual, located here: http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Kinston/117904913Aen.pdf If these suggestions do not resolve your concern, feel free to contact us at 888.203.1389. Didn’t even last for 2 years!

Not worth the money I paid! Control panel isn’t working properly after 3 years, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t!! First year it had draining issues! I feel like the control panel should have been a recall after reading all the complaints! Wish I had read the reviews before buying!

Average Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher gets the dishes clean but the cycle is 140 minutes plus. I like the layout of the bottom rack, it holds a lot of dishes and bowls. The silverware holder has slots that are too small to accept some of our silverware. It is very quiet running, it has a green light that shines onto the floor when it is done but it is so quite we can't tell if it is running and open it while it is. An indicator light would be helpful. We can't tell when more rinse agent is needed because the viewing window is so small and dark. It is easy to keep the exterior clean.

Stopped working after five months

Some tips that can alleviate your concern is ensuring that there aren't any kinks in the drain line and that the drain hose is installed at least 32" above the floor can resolve your concerns. Along with ensuring the knockout plug in the disposal has been removed to allow for proper draining.
