a very flawed product

it really doesn't clean the dishes all that well. The bottom tray is flimsy and hard to slide in and out. You can only load large dishes in the center row because if you load them on the side rows the dishes will fall over on each other. so the large dishes in the center make it difficult if not impossible to load smaller dishes on the sides. The silverware tray is flimsy and for whatever reason the silverware just never seem to get very clean. There is no status light to tell you what phase of the wash cycle the unit is in. It is very quiet so you really don't know if it is running or if it is done until the green light shows up on the floor to say it is done. . the upper tray isn't much better. It is flimsy and can be difficult to slide in and out. the fold down things on the top that are supposed to hold stemware in place are very annoying. If they are up you can't slide the tray back in because they hit on the side of the chassis. the operation of this thing is not intuitive at all and takes some serious time with the manual to get it going. I am really sorry that i bought this thing. I am going to remodel my kitchen sometime next year and this thing will be removed and not reinstalled. it is also way overpriced for what it is.

Doesn't clean, now using it as a dish rack.

Bought as part of a kitchen remodel in 2014 with other Gallery appliances (fridge, microwave, range). Others are average but dishwasher is worse. Doesn't clean well, even after maximum cycle time (around 3 hours I think). Repairman has made a few visits, said it's working properly but not really designed to clean well. Rather it's designed to get a good Energy Star rating. This replaced a Sears dishwasher circa 2002 or so that had been working acceptably (occasional heavy food residue was not cleaned thoroughly). For the last 6 months it's been retired from dishwasher duty and functions as a drying rack for hand washed dishes.

Jtofme, we hate to hear about your experience with your dishwasher. Here are some things to try. There are many conditions that can impact cleaning, the most common being temperature. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-125 degrees for the best cleaning potential. Ensure you run the water in the sink until it is hot (like you do before getting in the shower). Don’t forget to use rinse aid, and clean the filters regularly (page 16 in the Owner’s Manual for your model). I have included a link below for a website that has more tips. Please contact us directly for further assistance. Sincerely, Ruth http://www.dishwashingexpert.com/

Not happy

This washer was installed in the home we recently purchased. It was new with the stickers still attached. It would not run a cycle so a repairman had to replace the electronic board. Now it runs but will not even clean the soap off of the soap dispenser let alone the food off of the dishes.

Hi Boof, thank you for your review. For the dishwasher, we do suggest to make sure the water temperature to the appliance is set between 120*-140*F. This is the minimum temperature range that the water supply must reach in order for the detergent to dissolve completely. Also, make sure the filter trap at the bottom of the unit is free of debris. You may also want to clean the unit by running a hot water/dry cycle with no dishes inside, and throw in 2 cups of white vinegar in the unit. This cleans the sprayer arms and the unit and also deodorizes the unit. Thank you, Jennifer

Control Panel Failure after 5 Months
on August 22, 2016

I was happy with my dishwasher until I had a complete control panel failure after just 5 months! 3 separate control/electrical boards had to be replaced. I was out of commission for 2 weeks while the parts were ordered. Luckily, it was under factory warranty but makes me nervous what else will go wrong in the future. Guess I will be getting an extended warranty.

Broken from day one

Our Frigidaire dishwasher lost screws form the door when we used it. Screws wouldn't fasten back in and a technician couldn't get them back in either. All kinds of problems with sensors and the dreaded 1 minute remaining error. Don't buy.

Horrible

I've had this dishwasher for a while now and don't use it. It leaves the dishes wet and is rusting my silverware and cookware. There are times I've had to rewash some dishes that it did not clean. Worst experience with a product I've ever had.

LucieW, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. I would recommend using a rinse aid if you are not using one already. I would also check that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to get proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Also check the incoming water temperature to be sure it is not less than 120°F (49°C) at the sink closest to the dishwasher. Hope this is helpful! -Jennifer
