I hate this dishwasher!!

This is the worst dishwasher I have ever had! I run the hot water just like the manual says to do before I turn it on. I run it on high temp and sanitize and it does not clean my dishes. Especially greasy things like a smudge of butter or peanut butter. I have to basically wash all the dishes before I put them into the dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for just over 2 years and have had nothing but trouble. I have had to get someone out to fix it over 4 times. I always rinse by dishes and still have so many problems!!! Will never buy again!

Oh no! Romy1234, I apologize for any frustration and inconvenience this matter has brought to you and your family. I am deducing from your review that you may be having a cleaning challenge. The incoming water should be at least 120°F (run the water until hot in the sink before starting a cycle). Water pressure needs to be within 20-90 PSI (if you are on a well or have a reverse osmosis system, you may experience pressure variances). Some areas in southern California have hard water (see pages 13-14 for more information on hard water), that can impact cleaning. HIghly Disappointed

We purchased the full kitchen suite that corresponds to this model dishwasher about 15 months ago. Happy with the fridge, range, and micro. The dishwasher is TERRIBLE! So so clean dishes. But the DRYING piece is virtually non existent. But it "Looks" cool. Using the proper detergent & rinse agent. THE DISHES DON'T DRY AT ALL! Not just a little wet. The opposite of dry. I've had much cheaper "contractors special" units wash and DRY far better than this machine! Very unhappy with this purchase.

Oh no! Dash 1024, I am dismayed to hear you are not happy with your dishwasher purchase. Let’s see if this helps. First try increasing the amount of rinse aid that is dispensed (page 15 in your Owner’s Manual shows how to adjust it). Please run the water in the sink until it is hot (like you might do before entering the shower), before starting a cycle. The incoming water should be at least 120°F. Beautiful dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked that all the controls are on the top of the door and cannot be seen from the front of the dishwasher. It runs so quietly that I have to check to make sure it's still running Everything comes out very clean

So quiet

Save $100 and get the Sahara dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is quiet and cleans well but it will not dry plastic dishes (Tupperware). My daughter has the $100 cheaper version with the plastic interior and Sahara dry and it dries everything.

Hi TerryK53, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. I understand that you feel that the dishwasher is not drying the dishes properly. I would recommend checking to ensure the water coming in is at least 120 degrees, do you have heat dry cycle selected, and are you using rinse aid? I realize that as a consumer you feel that these are not reasons for your dishwasher to underperform. Over the last few years, Energy Star has issued stricter standards for water and energy usage which can increase the need for Rinse Aid to dry dishes. Hope this helps! ~Jennifer
