Worked well... when it worked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I didn't have any issues with our dishwasher or it's performance until it suddenly stopped working. Now, every time we close the door after pressing "Start" ("CL" starts flashing), all of the lights turn off and nothing happens. Based on the other reviews of similar issues, I'm not sure whether to "call maintenance" or get a new dishwasher.

I bought this about 3 years ago during a remodel - after the first year we had issues with the soap door opening - it would jam and no soap would enter the stream when cleaning - now we have a broken control panel and it is going to cost just as much to buy a new control panel as it would to get a new dishwasher - ALL during COVID 19 where my company closed down due to country wide shut downs - not happy -

Dishes come out even dirtier!!

This machine is terrible. Items come out dirtier than they went in. We rinse everything, use the Finish rinse and occasionally wash out the inside of the machine. It’s the worst product.

Please confirm that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to assure proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. To clean the interior pour 1 cup of white vinegar directly into the tub and run an empty cycle. (DO NOT add detergent). Also, check the filters in the bottom of the dishwasher to ensure debris is not stuck in the bottom which could be washing up on your dishes. Worst dishwasher EVER!

We purchased a two year old home, which had all Frigidaire Gallery appliances, previous owner said dishwasher didn't work. She wasn't kidding! I've tried everything, I think something is wrong with the control board, after eight weeks of battling with it, it's going to the dumpster
. Bought a new dishwasher, needless to say, I will never purchase a Frigidaire appliance every again!

Doesn't clean and doesn't dry

Purchased this dishwasher at the end of June 2015. It did not at any point and does not clean at all on any cycle but "china"--and on that cycle, it doesn't do an adequate job on anything but dishes that have been washed already. And if I am going to stand here and wash the dishes, what's the point of having this thing? It doesn't dry on any cycle--not plastic, not glass, not porcelain, not aluminum or steel or china. We have tried everything, including the suggestions about Jet Dry, etc. We have great water pressure and in all the years we've had a dishwasher (42), I have never seen a dishwasher function so poorly. I have scheduled a technician to come out but the only thing I am hoping for is a replacement of this lemon. There are too many issues with this thing to even bother.

Great Features

I really like how the top rack can be lifted to accommodate taller items on the bottom then lifted again to make room for taller items on the top. I also like how how the prongs for bowls and plates can be laid flat to make room for pots and pans. Make sure to read and look at the illustrations before use. If you'll miss out on how versatile this appliance is.
