I bought this two months ago, due to my kitchen being renovated. I went to use it and when the dishes come out, they are still wet, not dry.

Constantly smells bad.

We bought this dishwasher less than a year ago and are very disappointed with constantly having to clean it. We leave very little food on dishes prior to running the dishwasher and so have to clean out the filter and inside of the machine everything we run it. I typically run the dishwasher every 2-3 days but it has a constant odor. For the cost you would expect it to run better consistently.

Hello BJack2014, we appreciate your feedback. A fresh smelling dishwasher is a thing of balance, you have to run it often enough to not only keep the dishes clean but the interior clean. We would recommend running the dishwasher with no dishes in it. Once the dishwasher has completed its initial fill, add 1 cup of white vinegar and complete cycle. Hope this helps! Kindly, Jennifer

I bought this machine because my older one stopped working. I was excited to get a new washer, but honestly regret this purchase. My dishes do not dry! I add rinse aid constantly and nothing changes.i had a repair man come and look at it and he stated its the way the machine was made new type of heating element! I am not happy with this purchase at all!

Oh my gosh, Linn! I can only imagine how frustrating this has been for you! I know you stated you have has a service tech out to look at it already. I do not know if anyone has given you things to check, but here is my best list for a drying challenge: The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-125 degrees (at the water heater) for the best cleaning potential. Ensure you run the water in the sink until it is hot (like you do before getting in the shower). Finally, is the heater (inside on the bottom of the dishwasher) covered by a heavy mineral or calcium scale (looks like white spots on the heater)? If it is, start a cycle with no dishes in it. Once it has finished the initial fill, add 1 cup of white vinegar to the bottom and let it finish the cycle. I sure do hope something helps! Warmest wishes, Ruth

Worst dishwasher I have ever owned

We have had this a few months and it was not drying like my old dishwasher was. I thought something was wrong so had someone come out and look at it. The repairman said that the new dishwashers do not dry like the old ones. On the button selections it asks if you want heat dry or air. There is no difference, end up drying most of the dishes.

Hi Laney 1993, I hate to hear that your dishwasher is not working properly. I would recommend checking a few things before a new service provider is scheduled. Check and make sure the water coming in is at least 120 degrees, do you have heat dry cycle selected, and are you using rinse aid? I realize that as a consumer you feel that these are not reasons for your dishwasher to underperform. Over the last few years Energy Star has issued stricter standards for water and energy usage which can increases the need for Rinse Aid to dry dishes.
Kindly, Jennifer

Does not clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had several service calls under warranty. Now after almost 2 years, motor will not stop running. An i30 code was found. I don't think another service call is worth it. If dishes are not cleaned by hand first, residue just sprays back up on dishes. It is hit or miss if dishes come out clean. I have to clean the filters just about daily. I use hot water and heated dry. Just a waste! I have never been happy with this machine. It was installed in new construction.

Hello Neelie27, thank you for your review. I certainly hate to hear that you are experiencing concerns with your dishwasher. Typically when a dishwasher displays an "I30" error code this indicates a leak or overflow has been detected. Please look for any loose connections at the water inlet valve and ensure the unit is properly leveled. If you still have a concern out of sorts, please feel free to contact us at 1-877-435-3287. Hope this helps! -Jennifer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Broken after 1 year and 1 month....iCO code for electronic board error. Repair guy came today and said "these happen a lot, don't waste your money repairing it. Buy a different dishwasher instead, it'll last longer" Don't waste your money on this or any other Frigidaire with the electronics on top...they all have the same problem and will need to have that board replaced, $200+ fix.

Will not dry dishes and loads of error codes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had ours for 6 months and have no end of issues. i30 codes and i10 codes which we resolve only to have them pop up again and we cannot get this thing to dry our dishes. We use a rinse at the highest dispensing level and run the tap to rid of cold water before running the dishwasher and still our dishes are soaking wet at the end (glass and ceramic). Please tell me how to remedy this frigidaire. It's more than frustrating!

Jeeprasr, thank you for sharing your dishwasher experience with us. I can certainly tell that you are frustrated with your dishwasher, let me try to help. An i10 error code means a low fill has been detected; Look for a pinched water supply line, or the water shutoff valve may not be completely open. An i30 error code means a leak or overflow of water has been detected in the bottom pan; Look for loose connections at the water inlet valve and ensure the unit is properly leveled and plumb. These are both typically related to installation, I would contact whoever did the installation to correct these matters. The industry standard limited one year warranty that comes with our appliances, is for repair (which covers all functional repair actions), and doesn’t cover installation. The most likely culprit if you are having a drying challenge is water temperature. The “sweet” spot for water temperature is between 120-130 degrees for the best cleaning and drying potential. If you are uncertain if your water is the appropriate heat, check your water heater's temperature reading. To help get the hottest water to your dishwasher, try letting water run in your sink until it’s hot (like you do before getting in the shower). This "primes the pump", it gets hotter water to your dishwasher faster. Your dishwasher uses about 3-4 gallons per cycle, limiting the opportunity the water has to warm up if it doesn’t start off hot enough. States like Georgia have hard water and that can impact the efficiency of your dishwasher’s use of rinse aid. As you stated you are doing both of these steps, I would double check what the temperature setting is on your water heater. If you need assistance, please reconnect with us directly by calling our Customer Engagement Center at 877-435-3287. The hours for the Customer Engagement Center are 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday, and Saturday 9am to 6pm EST. Your friendly Frigidaire lady, Ruth
