we redid our entire kitchen just over a year ago and purchased the complete Frigidaire line - stove, double wall ovens, microwave, french door fridge with ice maker and dishwasher- no complaints with microwave. all three ovens need to be calibrated because temps are off by several degrees. stove top is fine. ice maker has been a pain since day one. i was told you have to use it more. jams up and gets clumpy so it has to be emptied and dried out - yes freezer is cold enough. there is no alert on doors and you do have to be sure to push doors closed. BUT MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT is with the dishwasher. it does not dry dishes or silverware even when set at the hottest setting. I run water in sink until extremely hot but dishes do not clean. They come out greasy . my water is so hot that when I rinse the greasy dish under water in sink it comes right off. I use all the product and rinse aid recommended by the company. the drain in the bottom will also have a greasy coating that comes right off when rinsed under hot water in sink. there is also dirty water in drain that never goes away. Dishes are fairly clean when put in.
I feel that we made a big mistake buying Frigidaire Gallery and wish that I had read some of these reviews before purchasing them. yes the smudge free exterior is very nice and they look great. But I am extremely unhappy with the workings of theses appliances!!

Does not clean dishes

Poor performance, dishes come out dirty, and yes my water temperature is set to scalding hot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hey Robert22, to help get the hottest water to your dishwasher, let the water run in your sink until it’s hot (like you do before getting in the shower). This "primes the pump", it gets hotter water to your dishwasher faster. Your dishwasher uses about 3-4 gallons per cycle, limiting the opportunity the water has to warm up if it doesn’t start off hot enough. Got this for Christmas Then we started to get an error code shortly after installation. PF would often show up and it would stop working. After several days it would randomly work again. Then again it works for several cycles, then off again. All my research says it is the board...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oh no, why me! I hate to hear that this has happened to your dishwasher. When the display is showing "PF," this indicates that there has been a loss of power to the unit. The "Hi-Temp Wash" and "No Heat Dry" lights will also be flashing. There is nothing wrong with the dishwasher and simply pressing the START/CANCEL button should cancel this error and a new cycle can be started. I hope this information is helpful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, we are satisfied with the dishwasher. Only issue is that the clips on the lower rack do not hold tines in place when in the upright position.

Waste of money!

Have owned this dishwasher a little over 1 year. Doesn't always clean even prerinsed dishes and doesn't always dry them. We noticed our new hardwood floor buckling up the other day. Upon investigating we found dishwasher leaking severely by the pump. Plywood underlayment of new floor has to be replaced and new hardwood. We are out looking for a new dishwasher after as mentioned earlier, only 1 1/2 years of ownership. Dishwasher is piece of garbage!!, would never recommend anyone purchasing this product!!

Broken after 3 years

Just like Michelle C wrote couple of days ago, with ours the motherboard also gave up. Ultimately it was determined that the repair wasn't worth the money. We purchased the dishwasher 3 years ago and we had the extended warranty plan too. So we were reimbursed a $500 check to buy a new one. It certainly isn't going to be a Frigidaire...
