Very Good Dishwasher!

I brought this 2 months ago to go along with my other LG kitchen appliances. This dishwasher is so quiet that I can hardly tell that it is on. It cleans my dishes very well and has encouraged me to use my dishwasher a lot more. Love it!
This is the best dishwasher on the market...except

I loved the racks in this machine. They are awesome! !!! You can completely customize all the wire spindles. This is a wonderful and ver worthwhile feature. I was able to get a ton of dishes in it with plenty of space for cleaning (very important to load properly). I also like that the racks wires seem thicker and more durrible than other brands I've seen. As we come from an old machine which lost many of the wires (broke off), I find this to be very nice. I believe the ability to customers so much would also add to the life of the racks.
It is a very quiet machine, well done LG! Washing is decent, washing time is a little long, but no complaints here. 3rd row rack does not seem to get anything clean. Almost everytime items placed in the 3rd rack came out still dirty.
I agree that it is frustrating (seen from other reviewers) that the machine does not have a heated drying function. Wish I realized this before purchasing. I had no idea many of the newer machines removed the coil for energy efficiency. It's not horrible that the dishes are not dry and I could learn to live with it, but it is frustrating with a family of 6 and sometimes needing to do 2 loads a day...having to self dry with a towel or air dry for hours. It almost defeats half the purpose of a dishwasher.
For us the fact that some dishes would come out dirty (and we pre rince/wipe everything before putting dishes in) and the no heat drying; really made this machine a disappointment. I agree the energy savings is important, but like other brands where they make the heat drying an option to choose. These racks really are the best on the market in my opinion, but we decided to return it (sadly) and now have another brand with a heated wash and dry function. My dishes are clean and dry. I can't fit as many in and I hate the racks.....but....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this as a replacement and in the store they said all the function lights lit. Not true. Power lights up, but in any shadow, it's difficult to read the selections. Also, the cycles take forever. Normal was is almost 2 hours, and it didn't seem to do that great of a job. Adequate, but not great. Maybe the next level up would be better, but the cost was high to begin with.
Pros: Style/Design

Wet Dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like hand drying dishes after they come out of the dishwasher, this is the machine for you. Pro's - looks good, adjustable shelves, good amount of room. Con's - the drying feature is terrible, dishes are always wet! We upgraded all the kitchen appliances with new LG appliances and are happy with everything but the dishwasher. Using rinse aid, but very unhappy with performance. I previously had a dishwasher that cost half as much and worked better.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this after moving. We had a Bosch before. The bottom rack comes "off track" sometimes and the drying of dishes on the top two racks is terrible! I even use the extra dry button and dishes/plastic still are wet! It would get 5 stars if it dried the dishes on the two upper racks!
Pros: Style/Design

Not happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this appliance with 5 other appliances all LG, this one I am not happy with. The bottom rack keeps falling off the track, The prongs in the center that hold the dishes fall continuously and do not stay up after adjusting and it takes an hour and fifty minutes (almost 2 hours per load).
