[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher in September 2014 and really like the features. The adjustable tines on the racks make it easy to put a lot of different dishes and pot in the racks, although I took the cutlery tray out completely to give the middle rack more room. The problem I have is that there is rust on one of the folding hinges and one of the wheels broke from the rust which makes it difficult to roll in and out of the dishwasher.
Pros: ease of use, Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poorly engineered

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher turned 3 years old in March 2019. We've noticed that the dishwasher has become quite a bit louder than when it was new. Upon closer inspection I find that the door latch is not pulling the door tight against the gaskets on the cabinet. While it is running you can push on the handle, and suddenly you don't hear the sloshing and spraying water. Unfortunately there appears to be no adjustment on either the door or the cabinet to latch the door tighter. With that said, we lived with the additional noise, but on Wednesday, May 29, I am told "I have some bad news". It appears now that the dishwasher has been leaking, and the hardwood floor adjacent to the dishwasher is soaked through and through. I don't know how long this has been leaking, but the damage could be extensive. I have checked the internal drain and strainer, but there isn't any debris that would cause an overflow condition. I'm calling my dealer and my lawyer, not necessarily in that order.

Quite, and easy to fill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my LG dishwasher 2 years ago and have had no problems. It is so quite. The controls are easy to use. If you want just a normal wash you push two buttons and close the door. I especially like the tines that move for odd size pans. The 3rd row is also a great feature for tools - even BBQ tools.

Nice but Flawed

We have had this dishwasher for 3 years. It has been temperamental its entire stay in our home but some of that is user error. We had hard water, this dishwasher cannot handle that at all. So we started using rinse aids like the machine REQUIRES. Thats right, without rinse aid, this machine will not rinse or dry your dishes properly. It operates properly only if you have soft water at home, a rinse aid, and you use all of the extreme settings. Otherwise your dishes will be chalky, wet, and burning hot. But if you use too much rinse aid, it will dissolve your rubber components and eventually this thing will not run anymore.
But the 3rd rack feature is awesome. We love it for long stemmed utensils or spice bowls. The noise level is ultra low. Guests are amazed at how quiet it is. It is attractive. The inside is spacious.
I just wish it cleaned as well as a cheaper model.

The worst

Takes way to long per cycle... doesn't dry the dishes completely... soap dispenser frequently malfunctions and overall leaves a film on the dishes. Would rather wash them by hand at this point. Also, first top control dishwasher I've had, which seemed cool at the time of purchase... but why have a countdown time that you can't read unless you open the dishwasher and disrupt the cycle... silly huh?
Pros: Style/Design

RUST! I bought this dishwasher and within 18 months the racks were rusting! The extended warranty through the store was of no help. I have to replace the racks after 4 years of rust.

Love my LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my dream dishwasher and love it. Like some people on here I also have a rust problem with the lower rack. If the people would just add the second drying cycle it would be a lot better. Oh, plastic does not dry good but I have changed to all glass. I do have glasses that have dips in them and drying does not get all the water. I just ordered another rack for the bottom. Have to love that top rack for spoons and such.
