I purchased this at in November of 2016 and the both the upper and lower racks have rusted and completely broken through. The racks rusted after only one year and I am just submitting review. I am very dissapointed. I purchased all new LG appliances and the fridge has had some problems. I love the gas range and microwave.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst dishwasher ever

Have you ever heard of a dishwasher without a heating element? Well that’s what this is! Dishes don’t dry. I have owned this less than one year and today the top outer panel is cracked. Didn’t hit it or anything. Also was on the higher end purchase price. Very disappointed.

Dangerous Rusty Dishracks!

The dishwasher works great, but all 3 dishracks are rusting very badly in several different areas...so bad, that I've asked my kids to stop loading/unloading the dishwasher for fear they may cut themselves on a rusty piece of metal. The fact that LG is supposed to be a reputable brand and the price they charge for their high-end products, you would think they would hold up better and not be dangerous to use. I purchased new stainless steel LG appliances roughly 4 years ago (refrigerator, dishwasher, range, microwave), and based on this it appears that I chose the wrong brand.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has some issues!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is very quiet. Dishwasher gets everything very clean. This model does a poor job of drying. Our racks are being replaced after less than two years use....they are rusted out. Have received upper and lower replacements, but not the middle rack.
Pros: Performance

I purchased this 12/2017. Within two years, the interior baskets started to deteriorate. Some of the wheels on the tracks rusted and dis-figured, the plate prongs and some brackets also rusted and failed. It was my mistake to ignore these failings till it got to the point that ‘several failed’

I sent an email with pictures and got a response the next day. I was asked for purchase information and was told that I would be receiving a new rack at no charge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this LDF7774ST dishwasher less than 5 years ago. Now it is not working. Dishwasher pump is already broken. When purchasing the salesperson said it has a warranty of 10 years. It is not the dishwasher fully but the inverter motor of the dishwasher.
The dishwasher shelves are already corroding as well. This purchase is a disappointment. Change our working 15 year old dishwasher to have all LG products in our kitchen. Now we will have to buy something else because the expected life (5-10 years) of the product is not met.
