Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was bought Aug 31 2016 , very disappointed that the centre spray arm keeps coming off, when there is nothing in high in the bottom tray
But what is worst is the coating is coming off the racks
Also the centre rack , a lot of the angles are to large for the plastic to sit

I never expected this kind of bad quality from LG

Motor went bad already once and it was reaplaced when it was in under warranty.
Last month Machine was stopped working (could not run) due to some safety feature kicked in due to some water leakage .I had to call someine to fix this and paid from my pocket as it was out of warranty.
Both top and bottom racks are rusting and breaking grill joints due to the rust

Shoddy parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The covering on the racks and tines in the lower basket wear out easily and are costly to replace. I bought this model because I wanted to have the flexibility to collapse the racks to accommodate large pots. Unfortunately, the part of the racks that make them collapsable have rusted out. I now have a problem loading plates into the dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: bottom racks can me modified to accommodate bigger bowls, pots and pans. Easy to clean filter. Third rack is great for silverware. Different modes of cleaning, I.e. half load - upper or lower. I just don’t know if it’s saving water since time to wash is similar.
Cons: There’s left over soap when I used both the gel and packs. The movable racks doesn’t lock as good after 3 years. Some rack tips cover are gone and metal are exposed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kitchen appliance washes the dishes fine but has some issues. First issue is a couple years ago the racks started rotting and rust loses out of the racks and onto the dishes. The second issue is the gasket for the liquid rents and streak additive never stays in place. The third issue is recently with a printed Circuit board for the upper door controls filled with water and stopped working. I had to clean the water out of the printed circuit board dry them and reassemble. I would’ve replaced those parts that failed except that they are very expensive compared to the price of a replacement washer.
My LG side-by-side refrigerator compressor failed.
My LG above range microwave had to be completely replaced.
My LG range oven gas oven had a problem with the circulating fan and a separate instance the igniter had to be replaced.
My LG washing machine has the issues described above.
All of these lg appliances were bought at the same time in a bundle. Each one has failed.
My LG side-by-side refrigerator compressor failed.
My LG above range microwave had to be completely replaced.

My LG washing machine has the issues described above.

Rusty racks

Love everything about the dishwasher except the racks. I've had it for about 7 years. Last August I had to replace the middle rack because of the rust. Now I need to replace the lower rack because it is rusting out. This is getting expensive! I'm 70 years old and have had a few dishwashers in my lifetime and have never had this problem before.
