Rusty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] UPPER and Lower drawers have rusted through in several places. Racks need constant readjusting and come off track easily.

I love my LG Dishwasher Model No. LDF7774ST. We have had our dishwasher for at least 6 years. Dishes are clean and dry every time. Machine is quiet. Lots of options. I didn't give it a 5 because the racks have all fell apart and I have to replace - the coating comes apart opening it up to rusting and eventually breaking.

Hey there! We appreciate you sharing your experience with us about your LG dishwasher, as well as your feedback about the dishwasher racks. We always aim to provide you with products that are sturdy and able to handle any amount of loads of dishes you need cleaned, and your feedback helps us to improve. Some tips we can recommend, since this unit has an adjustable 3rd rack, are readjusting the height to handle larger items, as well as avoiding overloading the dishwasher. This can help ensure the racks are able to stay on for a long time. Feel free to reach out to us on social media at @LGUSSupport if you need any help, and we'll be happy to provide it for you! *Josh

Adjustable racks, 3rd row, cycle for 1 rack

I love my LG dishwasher, it has been a wonderful upgrade from prior GE Profile. The LG, can't be heard when running, in any cycle. I have used them all to test, so very happy with this, and notification bell when complete. The 3rd row is great, I wasn't sure if really needed, but I place all travel mug lids, tupper wear lids, and smaller items, and they remail in tack completely, no more falling to bottom and melting on the heating element. The top rack being adjustable has been an other added bonus, I cook a lot so to be able to place large pots, casserole dishes and such and be able to lift the top rack to adjust is just amazing. the bottom rack as the adjustable tines that will lay down so you can transform the bottom rack to hold any size item in position to maximize cleaning, and it remains in place, which is again wonderful considering glass items no longer are placed on their side and hold water in them, so when you get to putting it up you have a water line on the glassware. My wine glasses come out beautifully. The touch pad which is hidden when the dishwasher is closed is great as well, plus it notifies you when rinse aid is low, and shows clearly the cycle you are using and what is being brought into play while using this cycle. We love LG, and as the appliances are going in our house we are replacing them all with LG. I do hope this helps.

I am so excited to finally have the almost silent dishwasher. I feel like I have a fairy godmother in my kitchen! There is a place for every assortment of kitchen ware and the third rack is a fantastic innovation. I have never known an appliance to be so silent - I keep checking to make sure it's really turned it on and it's running. I am so glad it has "running lights" to reassure me!,

It doesn't dry the dishes!
on October 12, 2014

Purchased Model LDF7774st
cleans the dishes fine, problem is the dishes come out wet, needs to hand dry before putting dishes away. Hybrid drying system is a total joke. Manual says " drys without the use of a heating element that would raise energy consumption", WELL the rise in energy consumption is " human energy consumption and added time" hand drying everything before putting in cabinets.
Byers Beware!

The only thing good about it is the noise level

I will only give this product a good rating on the noise level. We have a stack of dishes and glasses that do not get cleaned after every load. We have tried different levels. We are trying to save on energy usage by using the lease amount of features. I wish I still had my 15 year old washer that washed and dried the dishes a lot better than this LG. I didn't have to be a programmer to use it either. I should have bought new racks which was the only thing wrong with. The LG doesn't dry the dishes well either. I wish I knew how anyone likes this washer.

Not so great.

After reading the other reviews, I wish I could say that our dishwasher did a good job. I have to wash the dishes before they go in and then some again when they come out. The idea of all that room is great but as another review stated, the glasses won't stand up in the top rack. The adjustable tines would be a good idea too, but they don't stay where put. I have to adjust them back each time.
We are not happy with this dishwasher but feel we are stuck with it. Wish there was a solution.

Disappointed

I was so looking forward to having a new dishwasher, but now I wish I had my old one back. I am so disappointed with the inside. I can't find a good fit for our glasses on the top rack (I keep laying some tines down and leaving others up# and our plates must be too big for the tines on the bottom #the plates fall over instead of standing up) The tines also fall over without much handling. The small upper rack has so many tines I can't get much in. The dishwasher is quiet and I'm sure LG quality is good but I wish I had looked closer on the inside.
