Dishes are soaking wet and very flimsy design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have several LG items in our home and are very happy with them. When my dishwasher broke, I went with the LG due to the quality of the other products. This is the worst dishwasher that I have ever owned. The extra dry feature does nothing to dry the dishes. I need to hand dry everything in the top rack. The 3rd rack doesn't get anything clean, and the bottom rack is constantly coming out of alignment. I also can't believe that there is no "clean" light after the cycle is finished so that we know not to put dirty dishes in a clean load. There is a chime to signal that the dishes are clean but that only helps if you happen to be standing in the kitchen at that exact moment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very quiet dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher runs very quiet. You barely can hear it running. However it takes a long time for a regular cycle...2.25hr. Wish that we can remove the kids to the utensil caddy to give more flexibility. Otherwise, we're very happy with it.

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago and so far I can tell this is the best dishwasher ever....The only down side is the bottom shelf keeps coming out of the tracks.. Overall BEST OF THE BEST.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I start let me tell you that I have many LG products. Two air conditioners, a washer and drier, an electric range, and a microwave. I have always looked at LG first when buying appliances, and have always been satisfied. This dishwasher is my first disappointment.
When you open the door the control panel does not light up until you start to use it. When it is operating the control panel stays lit under the counter top where it can not be used.. It also has a blinking bright blue light that is like a light house in the kitchen. It would make more sense for the light to blink when the dishwasher is finished. Instead the light goes out at the end. Not deal breakers yet.
The real issues are the racks. The top rack is for flat pieces and is on eight wheels none of which point in the same direction making it difficult to pull in and out.
The middle rack is for glasses and small things. It is not really a friendly rack and many times the glasses do not stay where they belong. I have tried many configurations and none work.
The silverware rack again is not really friendly.
The bottom rack is the real problem. There is no good place for bowls or small plates. The large plates sort of fit but there is no support and a slight bump will cause them to fall over like dominoes. Again I have tried many configurations to no avail.

Nice look, nice features, plus for our kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this dishwasher about 6 weeks ago. I read reviews before the purchase and was a little apprehensive. The folding tines took some time to figure out what would work best, but this dishwasher has been a good addition to our kitchen. About some of the "death reviews" that I read.....some people really need to find something to gripe about. Some of the complaints were just that....complaints. I have had no bad experiences with this LG product.
Pros: easy to use
