It is super quiet - if it weren't for the lights on the door, I wouldn't even know it was running. It does a great job washing dishes, also. Probably the only downside to this dishwasher is that the cycles are very long. However, if it does a great job cleaning the dishes and is quiet, I can deal with long cycles...

Not Thrilled...

Was happy to have a new dishwasher, but not so happy with the results. Pots and pans that would come out sparkling in my old (other brand) machine are now needing a re-wash by hand even when "heavy" setting is used.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
