Outstanding dishwasher! Quiet yet very effective.

This steam dishwasher is the best I have ever had. The machine is so quiet that it amazes me. My old dishwasher, which was not a cheap "contractor special" but was a name brand, sounded like a helicopter hovering in my kitchen when it ran. I can barely tell that the LG is even running, except during drain cycles where the flow can be heard from the kitchen sink. The LG also cleans much, much better, even with dishes that not have been pre-cleaned. With my old dishwasher I had to rinse the dishes quite well and scrub off any dried on sauces, cheeses, etc. prior to loading them. Now I just dump the solids in a trash can and load them up and let the steam do the dirty work. My glassware and tableware are spotless! It saves time, energy, and water, and my dishes are as clean as I could hope for. This is simply the best dishwasher I have ever used, no doubt about it.

Great Dishwasher

I got this washer the day before Thanksgiving and really put it to the test during the holidays. It worked great! I didn't realize how bad my old one was until I got this one. It holds an incredible amount of dishes and is adaptable to all size bowls, pots and pans. The only negative is that the bottom rack falls off track easily. I think this is a problem with most dishwashers but I've noticed it more with this one - maybe because I can load many more dishes on the rack. Regardless, I'm happy with my purchase.

I was pleased with my purchase. It does a good job cleaning the dishes. Sometimes the top shelf doesn't slide very easy, but after a few tries, it goes in.

Quietest dishwasher ever

It has been a while since I had a working dishwasher so I was excited to get my new LG dishwasher. The adjustable shelf and racks really make it easy to fit in all my dishes and cooking supplies. The third shelf is wonderful for my grandson's baby supplies. When I first turned on this dishwasher, I wasn't sure it was running because it was so quiet. This is so wonderful because I am often cooking with family and friends while the machine is running, and we have no trouble talking. Thanks, LG.

This unit has 3 racks that all have adjustable features that make it easy to accommodate any dish or utensil that we own This dishwasher is so quiet the only way to tell it is operating is by the string of blue indicator lights on the door. The blue lights are very bright. As for cleaning performance, our dishes and glassware actually sparkle when we take them out. No water marks on dishes or silverware except for the very top rack, it is very wet. We have only had this unit for 3 months and still learning how to use its many features including the True Steam Technology. My pots do not come out clean but I hope that when I learn how to use it better they will.

Racks need some redesign, but amazingly quiet!!

The middle and lower racks need some improvements. The spines should be taller, especially on lower rack to secure dinner plats. Recommend spending more time on practical effort in testing methods/ease of loading. Also lower rack seems very low, but likely because of motor/mechanical do not take up as much space. Overall it is a quality product with excellent quietness!

Washes Great, but HORRIBLE dish placements

The dishwasher cleans fantastic. But placing the dishes into the dishwasher is a nightmare! The adjustable 2nd rack doesn't hold glasses very well, the row farthest to the right is next to useless, unless you want your glasses to tip over. The angle that the rack sets the glasses on is too steep and causes them to fall over. The upper rack I thought would be great, but it's also hard to use as it's really just set up for silverware. It would be much nicer to have just a bit more room and the plastic tines to me a bit more adjustable so I can put longer utensils like cooking spoons, tongs and such up there without them interfering with the wash. The tines on the bottom rack are a bit flimsy and they knock down easily, but I haven't had them fall down during the wash. Overall, I love it, but I really wish I could get a different 2nd rack to put in it....that would make it almost perfect. And boy is it QUIET...LOVE THAT!

You Won't Find A Quieter Dishwasher!!

This dishwasher Amazed me! My husband has been complaining for 7 years about our old dishwasher making too much noise when he was watching TV and I couldn't do a load when he was. NOW, I can run this dishwasher anytime I want to! As far as features and reviews go about this product: Some have complained that the second (of three) rack "slides" don't go all the way back when putting into position, I experience that and it's annoying; also others complain about the "tines" falling down, I don't experience that because since they are "adjustable", they have to "lock" into position and to me this is a very key advantage to the dishwasher and lastly if you read reviews before buying a product like I do; you will read the Manual before using it! It gives you 100's of options for the kind of load you are trying to clean! My favorite selection is: "Heavy, Steam and Extra Rinse" and it still uses less than half the water that my old dishwasher used. My dishes have never come out so sparkling clean and dry!!! If you don't research the reviews online about this product, it has a 4.7 average rating out of 5. That is hard to find!
