Buyer remorse

Every time I load this dishwasher the more I dislike it. On the lower rack my dishes fall onto each other no matter how I set the prongs! On the upper rack none of my glasses/ mugs fit properly! The only thing I do like is how quiet it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

About 6months ago we remodeled our kitchen and brought all new LG appliances. This dishwasher has made my life miserable!!! Most cups dont fit on top rack, the 3rd top rack is usless, its too close to the top of the dishwasher and will only fit things that are flat. Lets NOT talk about the bottom rack with the "interchangeable" rows that don't stay locked into place. Its a headache to load bc anything with a little weight (i.e. pots or pans) collapses the rows and by the end of the cycle your dishes are everywhere :(. Most cycles are 3 hours or longer and many of dishes wont be clean. For the price you can find something more effective that uses less water and actually gets your dishes clean. If you are considering this model don't bother, you will find your self hand washing and using it as a dish drainer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate this dishwasher and would never recommend it to anybody. All my appliances are LG and have no complaints about any of them except this dishwasher. The ledge that the bottom rack sits on is too narrow for the rollers and constantly falls off track which requires me to unload, put the rack back on track and reload before use. This dishwasher was not cheap. I have hard many brands over the years and never had this problem before. The episode last night was the last straw No more LG dishwashers for me

Very Quiet

Bought this when we moved into our house. Very happy with how quiet it was. After 3 years the racks have started to rust out. Aside from a 20 year old dishwasher we once had, this is a first for us. Replacement parts are expensive!

Upper spray arm and nut fastener

Washer is 2 yrs old. The upper (middle) spray arm falls off on just about every wash. The attaching parts seem worn. I’ve tried finding replacement parts on LG’s website to know avail. spray arm, attachment and nut. Also, everything has to be thoroughly rinsed or they don’t get clean. Any help?

bad motor twice and both hoses cracked

I bought this dishwasher 3 years and 10 months ago and was excited at how quiet it would be. In the time I have had my dishwasher I have had to replace the motor and it needs replaced again and both hoses have cracked causing leaks in my home into my basement. I am not happy with my purchase, not excited anymore. No one seems to carry replacement hoses specific to this unit and now it is discontinued. I wonder why. I wish I could get my $1,000 back for my frustration and disappointment.
