Love this dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is so quiet, you don't even know it's on. I'm still trying to figure out the settings, but so far, I love it! I am so glad I bought this one! The one and only downfall is that the settings are on the inside of the door and are a little difficult to see. I wish the settings lit up when you turn on the power. Other than that, it's perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this back in November of 15. Our old one was very loud, so my mother in law bought us a new one for Christmas. When I started my hunt, I had an infant and a 2 year old, so a must for me was quiet with a 3rd rack. After research, I came across the LG, and I have been happy with my decision since we brought it home! It is very user friendly, the 3rd rack is always full of knives, pacifiers, bottle nipples, sippy tops, toddler spoons and forks, love that feature, as well as the second rack being able to adjust the height, as well as all purple being movable. I'm very very happy with this, and any mother of toddler or kids, would absolutely love this dishwasher, its so quiet and can wash a lot!
My only honest complaint, if the bottom rack falls of the tracks, I tend to cuss it as its full and trying to get it back on the track!
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Quiet & Cleans All Dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we shopped for dishwashers, once we saw the LG it became evident that no other washer compared. We're pleased with how quiet it runs and how clean it gets the dishes.
One downfall is that our machine properly uses only liquid detergent; no solid will work.

Very quiet but does so so cleaning job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this dishwasher about 2 years. The best thing about it is how quiet it is; you don't even know it's running. The tines in the bottom rack are a little wacky and I can't seem to get my plates to sit just right but it's not a huge deal (moreso that I can't pack the bottom rack as efficiently as I would like). I like the third rack for little items. Unfortunately for the cost, I don't think it adequately cleans the dishes, particularly when the finishing rinse detergent runs out. I sometimes find food stuck on dishes and silverware. The latest problem is that the wheels on the bottom rack have somehow tilted and the rack falls off the track, particularly when full we plan to buy replacement wheels to see if that solves the problem. They are cheap but for the cost of the dishwasher I would expect the wheels to last longer.

Mixed feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm disappointed in the design of the upper rack. We've broken several glasses due to the too sharp downward angle of the side areas which greatly limits what can be placed there. We have to run the dishwasher more frequently due to the inability to place dishes safely so they won't break. On the positive side - dishes are much cleaner with this dishwasher and it's quieter than any other unit we've encountered. The top 3rd rack is very nice for small items. Just wish the upper rack was more functional.

OK, cleaning, Very tired of the smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to replace a 10year old kitchen aide dishwasher.. Bottom rack is spaced for plates, anything else you have to move racks and cut capacity by 40%. cleaning is OK. In 1 year, I have not see any value the steam feature adds to the cleaning.
The real problem is the smell, this unit does not have a food grinder so you have to remove the screen and trap often and scrub with bleach to kill the sell. Don't forget the bottom of the trap, I have found funky mold growth on it. LG should pull the trap and add a grinder!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have found it hard to load. There are so many moveable parts - and they often don't lock in. The stainless steel is also impossible to clean. We had heard that but when you're opening a dishwasher with a wet hand, it's a mess. I would recommend the darker stainless they are coming out with now.
