This is a new addition to my kitchen. I have owned a kitchen aide dishwasher for 21 years and when it stop cleaning good I felt it was time for a new one. After looking at several models the Samsung won me over! I have only had it for a short period of time but I am very impressed with its productivity. It cleans very well, no spots or stains left on anything. My dishes, pots-n-pans, glasses & silverware sparkle like new! I have to put my ear to it to be sure it is running, it is so quiet. Other washer I owned use to scare our dog out of the kitchen. This one She can sit in front of and not hear a thing. Thank you for designing the perfect machine. The only thing missing is someone to load it for me.
Pros: Inexpensive, easy to operate
Cons: nothing!

New Version Dishwashers Don't Dry

Cons: Most new dishwashers do not dry in the same manner as the old ones. Therefore, it holds water on dishes and in the dishwasher itself, which causes a musty smell if left for too long. Best to open the dishwasher after the cycle to allow the air to flow and dry inside of the dishwasher so not to get the smell to linger. Also, the stems on the holders are not all long like in old dishwasher styles, so takes some getting used to how to load it differently so dishes do not rattle. Main cycle wash is lengthy (it has a shorter 60 min cycle available option), but it's not like I wash multiple loads in the dishwasher in one day anyway - so this is not a big deal to me. Pros: This dishwasher is in an open floor plan living/dining/kitchen and it's QUIET!!! My coffee maker is louder than the dishwasher! If sound and cleaning power is your sole buying preference - this is the dishwasher for you!
Pros: Bright display, quiet
Cons: drying is minimal

Was looking for a dishwasher to fit t abnormally high countertops, and went with this guy. Raised to about 36" this guy fits perfectly and is whisper quiet! It's ability to clean is great, but considering this is the first "nice" dishwasher I've owned, I may not be the best judge. He third rack is great however.
Pros: whisper quiet, taller than average
Cons: pricey

I'm a complete novice at installing appliances but this thing went in like a dream. Only had to by a cord and a hot water hose. Every thing else was in the box.

Only have this dishwasher for a week and I very impress with the technology. Very quiet and its works perfectly as advertised. Installation took less than 30 minutes. As for value its worth every penny.
