This dishwasher is very quiet and hard to tell if it is running which we love for the most part. It would be nice to have something other than the light in the handle are telling one if the washer is running or not. The chimes are very quiet and unless you are directly near the dishwasher you wouldn't know if was done or not except for the light being off in the handle area. Having to remove the third rack if tall items are in the lower rack when the second rack is raised posses an issue of where to place the rack when removed from the dishwasher until it can be placed back in. It would be nice to have an external handle on the front to hang towels onto but the design ties the handle design of the fridge into the kitchen and the other appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Owner's and Installation Manual could use some improvement

I have only used the dishwasher a couple of times but I agreed with all of the other reviews overall.
However, I believe that Samsung could improve the installation and owners manual. I hated the clips on the side of the dishwasher that you use to mount the dishwasher to the sides of the cabinets. The clips kept falling off as you moved the washer into position. Poor design! Other companies design lets you attach without having to use the clips. Also, the user manual should be clearer with better examples for the use of the controls. Perhaps some color pictures to show what happens when you push various buttons. But so far it seems a pretty nice dishwasher!

Don't be fooled by the cool features...

DO NOT BUY!!!
Saw all the cool features and was thoroughly impressed. Took it home and and installed it. Ran 1st wash without issues. 2nd wash was when the trouble started. LE error code, indicating that there is a leak. I checked and there is no water in the bottom of the washer. Checked drain hose and it was clear. I spent more time than I should have. Pain in the butt out of the box.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible dishwasher!

We have had this dishwasher for over a year and it is awful! We kept thinking there was something stuck or we weren't putting the dishes in right but no! You can't load up a full dishwasher and you have to lay everything flat on the bottom and put your large pans up top and even then the stupid doesn't get your dishes clean! Too bad we tried so long to get it to work that it is past warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
