Hardware Issues

We are on our third printer due to hardware issues. The printing starts missing spots & the cleaning process won't fix it. It is a hassle. Also, the printing tray is located directly above the feeder trays & that is inconvenient. The ink does last a long time, though. For as much as this costed, I expected much more from it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This by far is the BEST WorkForce printer we have ever owned. Our firm prints hundreds of documents a month and the ink is alway able to keep up with our demands. Since we are a design firm, we expect our presentations to be professional quality. This work horse keeps up with the demands and prints out quality documents we are proud to deliver to our clients. We never have to worry if our packages will appear less than professional. Thanks EPSON! You are Designer Friendly!

Review of new Workforce Pro WF-R4640

I am old fashioned...always had in the office separate machines, e.g., copier, printer, and fax machine (with thermal paper!). Received the new Epson combo machine and I was impressed right off the bat! The obvious, one machine. But was impressed right away with the speed, clarity of print, ease of instructions, and the ease to use. My tech guy hooked it all up and it was ready to go. Loved it from the onset. Cannot say enough about this new line that is coming out for Epson and recommend it for everyone...especially those like me that are old fashioned and do not like change!!!

Bought this printer to be able to print my own brochures for my business. Machine works great except the completed tray lacks storage capacity so when printing as little as 10 pages, they end up on the floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Professional Printer/ Simple Set-Up

I was intimidated by the printer when I first saw it but it was extremely simple to set up and add to my net work. I work in records management so printing several high quality documents is imperative to my job the Epson WorkForce Pro has exceed my expectation.

WF-R4640 Warrenty New

Received the replacement unit after the first printer received had the front access door pin broken.
The replacement unit was received missing the installation instructions and the installation CD.
Was able to down load a version of the installation software. Had to download twice, as the web site redirected my first request to the WF-4640 driver set and not the WF-R4640 driver set. This was discovered by manually installing the printer, and printing. A warning message popped up indicating the driver did not match the printer product. The driver kits are over a quarter of a gigabyte each.
The initialization successfully completed.
Now have two new Epson printers. Have not run a job through the machine, but with the ink bags, the printer should be set for a couple of weeks.

and have had no issues currently AND INK STILL SHOWS OVER 1/2 FULL
