Colours not as bright as I'd expected

Just set up my ET-2550 today. Colour of first copy and photo printed was not as bright as I'd expected. The red looked like brown and all colours were a bit dull. I bought this to do photos and I hope that I have better success with future pictures.

Default "fit to size" won't stay. "Apply" button doesn't work. 95 yr old user has to reset "fit to size" EVERY time he prints anything. He's wasting a lot of time and paper, including photo paper because he forgets he has to set "fit to size" each time and he usually can't find it. Just ran update. Hope that fixes this issue.

Poor Print Quality - Not a wise purchase

Very unhappy with this printer purchase. LOVED the idea of an inkjet printer that I wouldn't have to constantly replace expensive cartridges on, but the print quality was never quite what I expected. The black quality is now bad, and the colors are non-existent. Have tried all the re-alignment and other options available through the print menu, all to no avail. Very disappointed with this printer.

Love the refillable ink - hate the S-L-O-W printing speed

I have had this printer installed for about 3 weeks now. I love the idea of the refillable ink. The ink refills are not overly expensive, and they really last a long time. After I do a fair amount of printing, I will look and it appears my ink level has barely gone down! So that part is great. However, it is the SLOWEST printer in the world. And it doesn't matter if I am printing a basic Word document in black and white, or a photo off the internet in full color, at times it has taken up to 10 mins. for it to completely print one page. Then other times it will spit a page out in the normal 10 seconds. I can't figure out any rhyme or reason to why it acts like this. If it would just continually print at a regular speed I would give this a 5 star rating.

Excellent Low Cost Printing

This is by far the best and least expensive printer I have ever owned. Have been using two of these (one at work and one at home) for a year now Bery satisfied with the Eco Tank feature to save money on ink AND the built in scanner software !
I would recommend this to a friend!
